Print is too small. I bought a memory card as recommended and it came with two separate sizes but no instruction. That was a waste of money. I probably should have got the Polaroid camera instead.

This is such an awesome instant print camera! I absolutely love the design of it. What's even better is the fact that it prints out such solid photos. I am a really big fan of this instant camera printer. It is easy to use, so you can take so many great photos with it. It looks great and it is the perfect size that way you can travel with it with ease. The best part of all this is that its a Canon! A brand known and one that I definitely trust with my photos and memories. I will be telling everyone I know about this product and I strongly recommend you purchase one today. They make great gifts for birthdays or Christmas or just a "I was thinking about you". You wont be disappointed.

This camera is a perfect party/wedding camera. The price per image is very competitive and cheap compared to other cameras/printers. Plus it has the added bonus of making stickers. I love that its compact and has the ring flash. I love its pearlescent looks. The app is actually decent which is really rare these days. I love the SD card feature where you can take a picture have it print but then keep the picture for yourself. But its flaw which is its whole selling point is the picture print quality. All prints no matter in the app or taken directly on the camera are dark and a alittle washed out. I know i can't be too critical since its using heat, but for me i would like to see better image quality. If the print quality was better this camera would no doubt be 5 star. That being said If you are having a party where you want people to take pictures home but you get to keep the digital file for you memories then this is definitely the camera for you.

This is a nice gift for anyone. With everyone having cell phones and taking pictures or videos with them Canon Cliq it’s a nice change of pace. Part of the fun is the anticipation of waiting for the picture to come out. It’s a good balance of waiting for the picture but not taking too long. (About 15 seconds). It comes out fully developed in color (or black/white if selected) The quality of the picture is pretty good. Hard to take a bad picture. Pro - Light weight easy to carry and use - Clear picture with ok lighting - No ink or printer needed - Rechargeable batteries built in - Easy selfie mirror in front of the lens - Has a memory card slot and can act as a digital camera Con - White color might get dirty sooner or later - Built in battery. Cant change it - Cant view picture taken - No battery indicator - Resolution of picture could be better - have to buy photo paper. Might add up costs. Overall I would recommend this to a friend. It’s a nice camera and fun to use.

Bought this for my daughter to try to help her understand how to frame and decide pictures as an entry into photography. With my old phone the kids just click away with abandon. So it's funny that in this digital age we're going back to old school with print photos, but I'm hoping this will help her slow down and conserve ideas for proper pics. I did a lot of research and am biased using Canon SLR's, but ultimately decided this was the best option. I'll try to answer some questions I just couldn't easily find. Currently, this camera does not keep memory of the pics - however we have not inserted an SD card yet and there is that option. It also does NOT show you a preview before you print, very disappointing. I realize this would add a lot more bulk or electronics but even a low-def preview would be very helpful. The link to print from your phone is very easy and the pictures are better quality that way, so the lens on this camera is just not the greatest, but good enough for fun. Using the borders was easy and fun - made myself a personalized phone case without having to buy yet another one and easier to swap out when the pic is outdated. The other reason was the large selfie mirror centered on the lens with the nice ring of lights - did make a diff in the pics and certainly helps prevent blinking since there isn't a sudden flash. We read on another review about using the camera for labeling of boxes or drawers and have made use of that option nicely. My parents got a case with straps to help prevent accidental drops and the case also has a nice slot for extra paper. So overall very pleased - if it only had the preview screen too I would probably give it 5 stars. Also the meaning of the blinking lights needs better delineation. Definitely pricey for a kid but worth it when I realized the other uses we could make of it.

Miss out on those 2x3 wallets school photos or fun wedding photos? Make your own with this handy fun in the moment instant printer! I’m finding this as a fun different to go gift idea in my dog photography studio. I find it easiest to take a good picture on my phone and use the app to print to the camera printer for slightly better quality since I can edit more in my photo apps real quick and then print. Certainly you can use the camera as a camera too and cut some steps out. It is small enough to chuck in a bag and take anywhere. The photo quality is good not great but good for an ink less instant printer and even better when you snap the image from your phone. It is a fun product. Great for wedding guest books, kids birthday parties, homemade school photos or dog photography studio in the moment gifts.

Doesn't have a pinkish hue like shown. Clear white shimmer is what ours looks like. It's nice, compact, and easy to use. Seems to be made well, though it's plastic, so I still would recommend taking care to not drop or bang it. Love that we can use the film in this or our Canon Ivy printer.

The camera is easy to set up, since it doesn't come with physical users manual you have to download the app in your phone in order to get the users manual, that it wouldn't be a problem because this app is just what it is needed to start taking pictures and print them out. Aesthetic this small camera looks great, it has the most common buttons that make the things easy, it only has the a viewfinder to preview how the picture may look and that is ok if we consider that this is NOT a professional camera I believe that it just for fun and keep some memories printed on nice stickers. The camera can be used with or without the phone but for sure if you want to keep a copy of your photos you have to install a micro SD. Using the app it will gives you more control over the editing and personalization and you can have access to your already storage photos which is awesome, the cost for extra sheets to print is kind of cheap so for a camera with all those features and be able to buy more paper at a low cost, make this Canon Ivy Cliq+ 2 instant film camera worth the price, I can recommend it.

There is a lot of technology packed into this small and slim camera body, that plucks at your heart strings, reminding you of the old Polaroid days. This is an instant camera, a basic digi cam, a mini printer, all in one. You have a "mini" micro-USB cable, and a wristlet in the box. The camera does not have replaceable batteries, instead it has built-in rechargeable batteries. No SD card in the box either. And the camera is still "usable" without it - you won't save your pics digitally, but it can still instant print. If you connect the camera to the app and chose the "Snap" function from the app, there is a live viewfinder (a bit of lag). This also allows you to preview the photograph once clicked, before deciding if you want to print it or not. This is great, we all have lost the ability to think before clicking that pic, without any thought to print paper wastage. So with the viewfinder, you get that control back. Unless you are using this "Snap" feature from the app, every time you take a pic, it does insta-print, since there is no screen on the camera itself to preview the shot. There are a few other options only available on the app, which I wished were available on the camera as buttons as well - - Zoom is only available through the app. - Timer is available only through the app as well. The app also allows you to take clicks from your phone and print it via the cam, It infact allows you to pick any photo from your phone's gallery and print it. Effectively turning the camera into a mini printer. The app has some pretty basic editing features - frames, stickers, text, rotate, filters, etc... Printing is quick and there isn't a lot of thought or care you have to put into the actual print. Point , shoot, print. Now coming to a few shortcomings - The photo quality overall is not that great and really wish the printing paper could have been bigger as well. With the current 2x3 size, these are mainly wallet pics, rather than refrigerator or album worthy photographs. The Canon Zink sticker photo paper isn't flimsy but the sticker at the back is really hard to get at, and remove. Infact, I struggled so much with it, that I had to recheck if this truly was the type of photo paper that had a sticker at the back. Overall, its a fun little camera, and you just need to know what you are looking for.

Overall it's a fun little printer for events much like you'd grab a photo booth for. I could see sharing this thing around during a wedding or other event and then printing a little keepsake right away. Personally I preferred to use my smartphone to print off the photos but using the camera worked well enough too. The best thing though was when I used the sticker photos to attach to magnets so I could make custom magnets for the fridge.

Canons new Ivy Cliq + 2 camera is kind of like a throwback to old school point, click, and shoot cameras. just like Certain cameras of old, you can print out your pictures immediately from the camera itself. Included with the camera is 10 printable stickers. They are not professional quality pictures but they work well enough for their purpose which is just having fun with the camera. The front has a mirror like finish so that you can see yourself as you take a selfies, and 8 self flashing LED’s to make sure you come out bright even in a dark setting. The app itself was pretty easy to use, you can basically view the pictures and add text or emoji‘s before you print them back on the camera. Overall the camera works just fine, it is for people who just want to have a little fun with their pictures.

I love this camera and the instant print of a picture. The app is really cool. You can put stickers and frames or writing on pictures before printing it too. I bought this for a Halloween party for everyone to take a picture of themselves on a throne and keep the photo to take home.

This little camera is so cool! It’s the modern day version of the Polaroid camera, minus the fun of shaking the picture into focus. The versatility is so fun, you can take pictures using the actual camera or through your smartphone. I took an old fashioned photo by looking through the camera and it printed the photo sticker immediately. I was also able to print photos from my phone’s gallery. The app lets you add frames, stickers and text to the photo before you print it. No ink when it prints so no need to wait for anything to dry, just peel off the back and stick wherever you want. My eleven year old was fascinated by it and has had fun with the instant printing. So simple to use, so fun to create little memories to stick up all over the place.

I used to love the old polaroid cameras where they instantly printed out a picture which then developed in front of you. My grandparents had one when I was a kid and we used to take goofy pictures of each other or use it during the holidays. I'm a millennial, kind of right in that middle group of loving new technology but also liking some of the older stuff out there. This camera hits right in the middle of that for me! There is of course an accompanying app, and I do love that you can also print pictures on the camera from photos on your phone. Kind of a cool bonus. The picture quality is pretty low, which is a little surprising to me, given how good cameras are in general these days (including on phones). However, the price point for this item is a little lower, so I suppose that does make sense. The pictures themselves are small, 2" x3", but I love the sticker paper. It gives you all sorts of options for how to use the pictures. This was fun to use and a bit of a throwback for me. I also think it would make a super fun gift for kids. Easy to use and the app is fairly user friendly, so I'd say give it a try!

Good camera takes nice pictures but the saturation and color temp can be inaccurate, adjust them before printing or you'll waste a sticker.

This a good product if you set your expectations accordingly. I have been a full frame shooter for years and have shot many big events. This camera will not fulfill my pristine photography expectations. The colors are a bit off and the images can be more sharp. But this is not meant for serious photography. It is meant for fun. It is meant to print out quick pictures in a party that will make awesome memories on your fridge, in your scrapbook, gifts that you can share with your friends. In my humble opinion, if you use this to print a picture from your phone (using the app) then the quality may be a tad better (not the colors) than if you take a picture with this and then print it out. The cost of the paper is cheaper than some competitors so that is a plus. This is a novelty camera that will help create fun in a party.
