My primary camera became disabled while on vacation in Florida and I bought this Canon as a temporary backup for the remainder of the vacation. Not what I'm use to but for the price, a rugged little camera that worked out okay. I have found the on-screen features a bit difficult to use though and it's not a simple format as with my primary camera and with an older Canon that I still have. But after having my Nikon damaged from sand on the beach, this rugged little guy saved the day. And for the price, it has quite a few features.

I haven't had the chance to print them yet - I need help from a friend for that part. But the pictures that I saw on the screen looked really nice. I have been learning to hold the camera steady (never my specialty). These should be some fun photos!

The camera operates different from any previous camera. Thought I could unpack it, charge the battery and take pictures. Not so easy! Had to take time to read the instructions-which should have been done first, but I was in a hurry.

It's a good camera for a point and shoot digital camera. Frankly, I miss my old camera that used film and I didn't have to worry about the battery being dead most of the time.

If you only have $100 and don't use it all the time go for it. Otherwise invest in a little better one. I like the battery recharges,

This is a great little camera. Everything I wanted except no lights when in movie mode, so picture is no good in dark. If taking pictures in dark, get good flash and good pictures. Also can not expand pictures by touch on screen.

I love this camera and I bought a case to carry it in. The pictures I took using the telescoping feature came out just wonderful. I took a picture of a waterfall in the mountains and I was no where close but the picture looked like I was. Can't say enough good about this camera and the way it works!!!!!

I like the fact that this camera is 16 Megapixels and has the Canon DIGIC IV image processor and has several challenging picture situations pre-programmed to improve the photographers chances of shooting a good picture.

This is the perfect camera if you aren't looking for a DSLR camera for "serious" photography. Perfect capturing life's memories.

Bought it for my mom hoping she gets practice using and taking care of it. Hopefully she won't lend it out and it will last her. She seems to use it often and has quickly gotten used to the buttons and setting it up.

The pictures are great if everyone is standing remotely still but for action shots....not good! Wish it had a 'sports' option. Wish I would had looked into it better!

Got this to be a back up to the bigger DSLR when we don't want to lug that thing around. Some of the presets are not very good, but we use one or two of them, and they're fine. Performs much better outdoors.

the camera works terrific. the software that came with it was not updated and the online update was not sucessful.

I bought this camera for my niece and found it to be a great buy! She's enjoying her first camera and the features are simple enough for her to fully use. I am very pleased!

This is the third one of these we have gotten. first two had to be returned because the shudder got stuck. Still a good knock around camera though.

This is my 2nd Canon camera. I got a new one for my vacation that would take great pictures and fit easily in my purse. I didn't have any trouble learning the basics of this camera. I'm looking forward to learning to use all of the various setting this camera offers.

Nice camera for outdoors and indoors the zoom is not all that great but it serve my purpose . I used thus camera on my cruise to the Bahamas

Did not have the camera 30 days, on a trip go to take a picture and the screen locks up, lens in out position and camera can not reset, take battery out, card out, turn on and off, nothing. I had to go to another Best Buy and thankfully had my receipt on me, go another camera but lost the opportunity to take pictures on my first day of vacation, not a happy camper.

It's relatively new, so I need to "play with it " a bit more to be totally fair. But it's my second small Cannon & a superb value . I recommend it for web site uploads & fun photos.
