Small, easy enough to use. Wish it were water resistant but for the price I can't complain. Easy to use videoing, fairly fast shots, decent zoom. For the money I'd say it was a great purchase to use on ski vacation as there was no way I would have brought my really good Sony.

This is my second Canon digital camera, and was picked for it's compactness, features, and Canon quality. I'm a casual photographer, so I appreciate this camera's automatic features. The 8X zoom is unusual in subcompact cameras, and the included image stabilization is a "must have" feature when using high zooms. I purchased this camera essentially at half price or less during a great Best Buy sale, so for the money, I didn't think it could be beat.
