I replaced a similar camera, different brand. This one not have as good image quality.

I had an older Power Shot and I needed a lighter camera to carry hiking...This one fits the bill...

took a long time to find someone to help me, but then quickly cashed out

20 megapixels, now I can see each pore, works fine, it's a camera

I've used Canon Elph cameras for many years as my pocket camera with a zoom. However the pics on this one are not as sharp as on my previous Elph cameras. I rarely use it because of that.

Simply the best TV for the price at the time for a smart TV with Ll the features we wanted.

A decent camera for the money but with all the phone camers it is difficult to justify this anymore.

Had trouble programming the crockpot and thought it was me till I had two other people try to no avail.

The Canon Elph power shot is a good camera, however, the one feature it does not have is zoom and crop.

The camera is ok, doesn't auto focus that well, but it gets the job done.

Needed it for work and recreation. Gives an adequate picture.

This is my second Canon power shot camera in 10 years of heavy use. Small enough to just put in my pocket and therefor no need to drag around in a bag. Love the features and takes great photos. I chose the 170 as I just don't need all that many features and the cost was defiantly within my budget. Would have liked the cable included in the package as the old one was. That's the only reason for a 4 star rating.

Loved the color but when I got home I was trying to use it to take pictures and down load them on my Mac so I could list them on eBay and things just didn't run smoothly

This camera took great pictures but would not let me re-charge the battery. Returned for a refund.

Really smooth and easy to use. High megapixel and easy to carry around.

First I did not purchase this from Best Buy because they were not open and I was in a hurry. Another store was open (before 10 am) so they ended up getting my business. I was able to get this camera for the same price as BB but at this store it came with a case and SD card. So some savings there. This camera is exactly what you'd expect for one priced as such. If you expect the performance of a $500+ camera, you'll be disappointed but it does the job for what I am paying for... a simple, point and shoot camera with a fair zoom and decent image. Good camera for the money for sure!
