Cheap point-and-shoot gets the job done
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a present for my girlfriend and she likes how it's cheap so she can just stuff it in her bag and not worry about scratching it. The pictures it takes are definitely much better than cell phone quality. I was hoping we could shoot some decent videos with it, but the video feature is absolutely terrible! It loses focus for no reason, and has no way to trigger the autofocus during filming! You have to stop recording, refocus in still camera mode, and then start recording again. It's sad that my phone takes much much better videos than this does.

Good first camera

The lenses did fog up while I was at the beach which was kinda annoying but it cleared up after a little bit. Good for take quick pictures and the batter life is good. Very easy to use.

Photo Quality is Terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this camera for some basic pictures to be taken of properties. The photos were always fuzzy, blurry or noisy. Tried using it in both auto and program mode but always ended up with lousy pictures.

Do Not Buy Warranty

I even spoke with several Best Buy Associates about the quality of the Camera. I would not purchase this camera again. It is very sensitive, water was spilled on the camera while Kayaking and it was completely destroyed. The battery blew out. The SD card was soiled mind you it was never submerged it water. The pixels itself are great but it has no recovery or save features. It does not backup SD card to cloud or any service which is expected with a camera of this price. I wouldn’t invest in a warranty or geek squad because it does not cover water damage. I would not even purchase an SD Card over 16GB, the camera will not last longer than 14 days itself hence Best Buy 14 day warranty. I purchased this one on 3/26 and it stopped working on 4/11/19 a little over 14 days.
