    Old Technology

Has none of the features you would expect in a modern camera. Has two flash modes, Auto and off. Has two exposure modes, Auto and program. No USB port, if you want to charge it you have to take the battery out, if you want to download the photos you have to take the memory out. I wonder how long the door that contains the battery and memory is going to last? Has the feel of a cheap plastic toy, but cost over $100.

    Don't Buy this camera

I was shocked at the poor quality of this Canon Elph 180 -- I have an older model Elph that works great. But this new model is a piece of junk. The first one I bought was defective and would not focus; the AUTO mode made the focus jump all over the place. I took it back to Best Buy and exchanged it for another (same model). This one didn't work at all -- wouldn't even turn on. It is so lightweight and plastic-y that it feels like a toy. And it doesn't even come with a USB cord! My old one did. The guy in the B.B. camera dept was shocked that I had to return the 2nd one, too. This time I bought a Nikon Coolpix and it's fine. Canon, you have really gone downhill in quality.

    Camera Died

Bought camera for upcoming vacation trip. Worked fine at home; landed in San Diego/Coronado and it was dead. Recharged battery to no avail. When at home took back to Best Buy who would not refund due to 10-day refund policy. Who takes their receipt for a new camera along with them on vacation? This is after spending thousands at this Best Buy for TV's, computers, tablet, phone and more. I will not shop there any more. Reason Amazon is doing so well.

Description mentions a build in WiFi... but the camera does not even have the USB cable. Very disappointed with a poor description at the BestBuy site.

    FOCUSED FOR A SHORT TIME

I have bought several of these cameras with no issues. Bought one recently and it stopped focusing after 3 weeks with very light use. Took it back and Best Buy said it was after 15 days, so no replacement. Not a reasonable return policy. I am disputing with my credit card company.

    Poor Quality.

Quality is relatable to that of cameras in the early 2000s. A basic flip phone took better pictures than this camera. I don't know what's with all the high reviews, that's why I bought it. But this camera for the price doesn't take remotely good pictures. They aren't all fuzzy, the ones that come out fine look like they were taken through a TV screen.

Disappointed with Canon on this one

Being the owner of several Canon point and shoot type cameras in the past, figured I'd try this one anyway, even after reading some of the negative reviews by others. Guess I was hoping for the best. However, that was not to be as the image quality just wasn't there. Returned it to the store.
