I must admit, I am a Sony fan. When I went to buy a camera that my husband could use, I thought the buttons on this Canon might be easier for him to handle with large hands. I admit, I wish it was my camera. It take beautiful photos and is so easy to use. I may swap it if he doesn't notice. :) I can be a simple point and shoot, but also has many settings for the more advanced user. Highly recommend.

Took on vacation and all the pictures came out great. Very light and easy to use. Loved that there was a charger for it.

I bought this camera to take on a trip to Europe. It worked very well and was easy to use. Taking pictures was very easy. The only thing that is a little tricky is the wifi download of pictures. Your computer requires software, but it is different than what is listed in the instruction manual. Maybe the manual needs to be updated? I got it to work, but its tricky.

I love this Canon Powershot. It takes the most amazing photos, and best of all it is so simple to use!

I was going to go with the cheaper camera but a friend convinced me to go with one with more optical zoom. I took this on a Disney cruise and to Disney Land and had it in my pocket the whole time. The zoom really impressed me. Definitely worth the extra money over the 4x optical zoom cameras. The higher optical zooms seemed too big for my front pocket.

We were happy with the previous generation of this camera, so upgrading to this when necessary was a no-brainer. While this camera offers a lot of options that we do not use, the basic auto-type shots are handled quite well. The camera can seem a little sluggish at times, but that is usually after taking a photo, so if you got it on the first try you're set.

I bought this for my wife and she is delighted with it! Loves the size, features and quality. The wireless is great and the extra zoom power is very good. Good bargain for great pictures.

great camera - easy to use. more options than just point and shoot

I purchased the 340 to replace my 330 Canon camera before a big trip. I have used and liked many Canon cameras over the years, but I did not like the 330 because it was hard to understand the features. The 340 is much easier to understand and to use. I can wirelessly connect to my tablet to share photos. Easy to upload my photos onto my computer, too.

Bought this camera for our California trip. The size and easy features were a snap and perfect for my wife. It took great photos in various lighting and settings. Very impressed.

Needed to replace a camera (that I was never really happy with) and purchased this one after comparing features and prices. Is used mostly for capturing grandkids activities and have been very pleased with the quality of pictures produced in situations with varying light levels.
