I needed an everyday ease to use digital camera, and this is that and then some. I really enjoy the fact you can take great pictures as well as filters if you’d like. I also appreciate how quickly it goes from off to ready to take your pics.

Love the camera for its price. Captures great photos and shoots very high quality video. Love the camera and its perfect for someone like me who is a beginner looking for an affordable, but nice camera. 4k only shoots for about 5-10 minutes and the camera starts to overheat. Also the autofocus can be a bit sensative to motion so sometimes will have lots of focus issues in recordings. Otherwise highly recommend!

I bought this popular camera to learn the settings and different adjustments, like a starter camera. It's great quality, durable, and great for travel. Because of the research I had done, I was fairly familiar with the "shortcomings". One thing I wasn't familiar with was how quickly it dies. That is literally my only complaint.

I have the iPhone and DSLR, but this is great for day trips without draining your phone, or carrying around a 10lb camera. Great picture, easy to use, easily connects to your phone so that you can download pictures, and you can either charge the battery with the camera or using the included charger. Canon has made this so simple.

I was looking at a compact point and shoot camera with decent zoom for taking on trips when I didn't want to lug my DLSR around. I got the G7X because of the positive reviews.
The camera feels pretty solid, more so than I gave it credit. The controls are easy to access and use and the menu system is easy to navigate even if you have never used a Canon camera before.
In normal and bright lighting, the pictures look clear and sharp and the autofocus is pretty quick. I will need to test out the low light performance. I assume it should do OK with the 1.8 lens.
The videos I shot look fine, but I don't shoot much video.
I didn't have the expectation this camera would keep up with any of the prosumer DSLRs, but this has been meeting my expecatations.

Selfies are 1000 times easier with this. The picture quality is amazing and enhanced. Multiple features to choose from makes taking pictures smoother and high quality. Also records!

I purchased this camera with hopes that it would produce an image equal to or better than my iPhone 11 Pro Max. It seems to do very well, but I have learned that there is A LOT to learn about camera settings. It seems to have great potential. I do like how compact it is.

Easy to carry on trips due to size and weight. The quality is so much better than your smart phone. Highly recommend this camera. If you want ultra great pics, of course use SLR but it's bulky and often inconvenient.
