This camera is great for the price. I just needed a simple camera that would take quality pictures. This camera did not dissapoint. I took it to a graduation ceremony and the battery lasted the 3 hours I was there. I also took it on a hike and it took amazing pictures of nature. It is a grat camera for a beginner. I decided on this instead of splurging on a DSRL camera because I just needed something simple to use! My little brother loved the quality pictures he was able to take with it as well and is considering getting one himself.

A little larger than the skinny telescoping cameras but much more durable. When I first picked it up, I thought it was cheap because it was so light. Not so. Just took it to Grand Canyon, Zion, Disneyland, and San Diego. Awesome shots. GREAT ZOOM for being relatively small. Most of what an SLR offers with the small feel of a point and shoot. Great value.

This is truly an upgrade from my last digital camera! I look the clarity, the optic zoom and the fact that it's so light weight. When I bought this camera I expected it to be heavy, but was utterly surprised that it's lighter than the Kodak camera I had previously. It's not difficult to use at all. I immediately started to play with it once the battery was fully charged. It takes wonderful pictures even in bad lighting! The price was great too! I always compare prices and specs. This one fit the bill but surpassed expectations!

I manage a business that takes a lot of exterior photos for business purposes. We need cameras that are light enough to handle, but strong enough to stand up to repetitive use and minor abuse. These fit the bill perfectly. The lens on the front is significantly larger than a compact point and shoot. The hand grip on the side is a nice design feature for moving with the camera. Photo quality is great for cameras in this price range. I got 2 on sale for $150 each, and I might be hesitant to pay too much more for these as, feature-wise, they still fall into the basic point and shoot category. Battery life is good, flash is a little weird, and menus are pretty similar to other Canon products if you're used to them. Have not tried out any of the video features.

This camera is easy to use and is perfect for those who are ready for the next step up. Pictures come out good after a little bit of time focusing and messing with the zoom. Having the flash feature is nice just wish that it would autosense the best time to use it. I would recommend getting a camera strap to go with it for easier carrying access.

Very easy to use. Take out of box, charge and go. Quality of pictures is good. We take a lot of outdoor pictures so we enjoy the capability of the zoom. My only disappointment is that it is too large to fit in a jeans pocket. It will easily fit in a coat pocket though.

This is my first "real" camera. I was intimidated at first but it's easy to use and easy to get the pictures copied over into my PC which was a big concern. It's lightweight too. Excellent camera for the price!

I have a big ebay store and use my digital camera every single day. It must take sharp, clear pictures with vivid colors and be able to zoom in tightly on small details like the UPC and/or Item Number. I started with a Fuji Film camera and it started having problems soon after I bought it. I sent it back and bought a Canon. That camera was terrible. The colors were all dull and the lighting was bad. So, this is my 3rd camera and it is absolutely perfect! I love it! It does exactly everything that I need for it to do.

Gave it as a gift to my girlfriend. She says it's easy to use which was her number one requirement. Me - I say it takes excellent pictures. For the price, you've got a camera which has the essentials to take excellent pictures without being too complex to use for people who don't like complicated devices.

Easy to follow directions setting up the camera. My grandsons were able to use the camera in the auto mode easily. Viedos through the Redwoods were great! Camera is easy to pack and carry with you anywhere.

I bought this camera for my daughter's high school graduation. I'm not a photography enthuse so I did not want to spend too much money but I wanted the preserve the memories of such an important event. This camera has decent zooming capabilities and very nice picture quality. Very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this on 1 Jan 2015. Liked the deal, got the camera, memory card, and carry case. However, I found out later, when I tried to get a protective UV lens that none are available because this is a discontinued model already when I bought it.. Not happy that I cannot buy a UV lens so I can protect the actual camera lens.
