Sometimes it lags behind when taking a mulmultitude of pictures

I bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law. She absolutely loved it! It takes great quality pictures.

I bought this camera for my Grandson and I'm very dissapointed. It's very difficult to get it to focus clearly. Even though it's inexpensive I expected a better camera from Canon for the price.

Works like a charm! We have never complained with this camera use.

I couldn't justify spending another 150-300 dollars for features I didn't use much on previous cameras so I gave the SX 400 a shot. First impression is that the camera was very light and easy to handle. The battery only took about two hours to charge. At first I was nervous as there are very few buttons or visible options and I feared there were some missing critical options. However, upon reading the online instructions I found most of the adjustments and features I typically used were available (i.e continuous shooting, pic dimensions etc..) . My first test was a good one, as there was little light inside or out at dusk. The focus and image stabilization were excellent. I took fantastic pictures in relatively low light including extending the zoom into the digital realm. This camera takes better pictures in low light then my Nikon. Overall, if you are looking for an easy to use lightweight camera with a great zoom that takes great pictures this is an excellent value. On the flip side, if you like having a lot of manual options, WIFI, and you are comfortable with a bulkier camera, then I would spend the extra 150-300 dollars.

Most pictures come out blurred. There are cheaper canons that have better picture quality

Ordered this for my daughter and her upcoming trip. Arrived a week later than promised so she hardly had a chance to work with it before leaving. Ended up not even taking it as the quality of the pics wAs so bad. Grainy totally disappointed with this product. Will return it

Waste of money, most pictures came out blurry. Had a hard time returning this product at the store...

This is not a good camera at all. However if you are looking for a cheap camera then this is the one.

I love this camera! Me and my girlfriend bought this just to use when we go on trips and it is the best purchase we have made all year! Great pictures and video and light to carry around.

It is a nice size but i have been playing with it for a couple of days and the pictures always looking faded when you take them and the adjustment for the coloring is not good. Has great zoom but that is about it and the price is reasonable .

Works great for nature and wild life pictures. Some times gets a little sound in the pictures. But over all a great point and shoot camera

I tried to take a picture of my dog and I would not focus and took a while to and when i did it looked very bad with that lighting and i only like to take pictures with natural light which can be annoying

We were looking for something that would take a quality photo without all the fuss of making sure the surroundings were right. This camera in Auto mode works wonders.
