We have several special occasions coming up and I wanted a good camera instead of taking pictures with my phone. I bought this camera right before going on vacation and it is wonderful, I can zoom in to something that was far away and get a very clear shot, it's not heavy to carry around your neck and I love that I can connect to the camera and send the pictures to my phone. I almost didn't buy the camera since I hate to spend money on myself, but it is well worth it. The picture quality is very good ... My pictures look professional and I will have amazing pictures of our awesome family memories. ** Buy the 128gb memory card & extra battery, you will be glad you did.

Great pictures great camera , only reason nor giving it 5 stars the battery died on me first time using camera, in batteries defense i was playing with camera quite a bit learning the ins and outs. i would recommend a second batter charged and ready to go.

This is a pretty good camera that is a nice mix of a point and shoot, while still having some of the features of a DSLR. The 50x optical zoom is amazing, as well as the wifi capabilities. The pictures come out really well, and it's super easy to use.

I just received this a couple days ago, so I haven’t gotten to play with it too much, but so far I love it! I wanted something that was nicer than a simple Kodak point and shoot that I had, but not too fancy that I would have no idea how to use it! This is a happy medium for me. I was torn between a point and shoot and taking the next step to DSLR, but ultimately chose this because no one seemed to want to help me at the store and I had many questions. It is what it is, it takes decent pictures and some of the features are fun. I'm still looking for an upgrade, but this was a great replacement for my broken Sony camera.

I bought this for getting pictures of my son and varsity team. It takes amazing pictures although some didn't come out as clear as I'd hoped it may have been me. But all in all I recommend it for anyone who wants a good camera without the hassle of changing lenses. I am very pleased with my purchase!

It is not hard to use and is great for beginners. It takes great pictures!!!

I'm very happy with my purchase. It's an easy camera to use overall. I had a bit of a time getting the wireless to work but that might've been my lack of ability. Now that it's working, I love not having to connect the USB to upload photos every time.

1st time with a Canon. Replaces a Nikon. Over all pleased. Pros- picture quality, low light, 50X telephoto, ease of use, rechargeable battery, price. Con- cannot manually focus camera which was extremely frustrating during last lunar eclipse.

My husband purchased this camera for my birthday. I like the camera but I don;t think it takes the best quality pictures. The flash is very standard. I think my phone takes better quality photos. I like some features like the app that allows you to easily transfer pictures to your phone and to control the camera. Don't waste your money on this one.
