This camera takes very poor photos. 80 out of 100 are out of focus.

Ligthweight, hyper zoom, bright display, affordable overall. I can't say enough about how much I love this camera. I can zoom in 100x to my neighbor's chimney and see the mortar joints in great detail. I'm sure the camera experts will say this is a mediocre camera, but for this amateur I absolutely love it. Battery lasts for 200 shots easy, a whole home inspection.

A little frustrated .Pics are blurry not the quality I'm looking for.

My iPhone X took better photos than this. Was very disappointed.

My wife is a photographer and we wanted a smaller camera to take on vacation with us. She uses canon for work so we got this. The camera took ok pictures but our IPhone 7plus took better ones and didn't require us to carry a bulky camera around on our trip.

This camera was so worth $300(with a sad $23.83 tax, or at least i was sad about that but..) it takes AMAZING pictures. I am so in love!!! I've only used it for one day but i know im gonna love this camera, Canon makes great cameras.

I bought this to simply take pictures of Ebay items. I found out very quickly that my cell phone takes better pictures. Not worth the price.

I purchased this camera specifically for a 12 day African safari. It worked great for the first 3 days but then it would not turn on. To say that was disappointing is an understatement.

Always loved Canon products but the images quality isn’t what I had hoped it would be. When I try and blow them up they become super pixelated.

I generally use a Samsung NX300 as the picture quality is outstanding, especially with the 45mm lens, and I also have a Canon SX170 for times when I want something smaller to carry around, but neither give me much of a telephoto range for taking long-distance pictures. I was asked to take some pictures of a charity event at a local golf course so I used that as an excuse to shop for a super-zoom. I liked the look and smallish size of the SX530 so I picked one up at my local Best Buy. I’m generally pleased with this camera; there is no question that the 50X zoom got me some pictures that I would not have got with either of my other cameras. The image stabilization is very helpful at the long end, but you still need a steady hand to avoid blur. Picture quality overall is not quite as good as I had hoped- I found that the best pictures came from using Program mode with -1/3 exposure compensation and vivid colors, but the camera still has a tendency to overexpose in bright light, and colors appear to be slightly off, especially greens which look slightly yellow. The picture quality is not terrible, and I DID manage to get some good pictures, but nothing exceptional. Unfortunately this is to be expected with a small sensor, nothing beats a large sensor for getting accurate colors. Image quality aside, the camera is quite easy to use. I found the settings and menu to be logical and almost identical to my Canon SX170. WI-Fi is a great feature but was a bit tricky to setup initially. I had to refer to the manual and it took me a few tries to get the settings right, but now it’s a breeze to save pictures to my PC. I also paired this camera with my iPhone and I can use the iPhone to control the camera and take pictures, as well as save pictures from the camera to my iPhone. It’s a bit of a gimmick as obviously the iPhone can’t move the camera, only move the lens, but it’s still fun. I can see using it to take pictures of the moon if using a tripod, maybe, but beyond that it’s just for fun. Overall I’d say this camera is great IF you find that you need the zoom range, and are willing to accept pictures that can be good but rarely great; it’s a good option for a second camera for vacation or sightseeing, but would not be a good option for a primary camera.

It didn't work for me. I was expecting a better camera but it disappoints me. I had to return it. I'm saving money so I can buy a better camera.

Salesman did not order memory with camera. This item was promotion with camera purchase on Black Friday.

Did not work after first 10 pictures taken.missed family reunion pictures in new York 70th reunion.

This camera works like a dream. Light weight. Gets great pictures. I can't wait to travel and use all the deluxe features.
