The camera is definitely worth this price the pictures come out professional. I love this camera has a timer on as well. You can take videos, pictures and even portrait photos.

I purchased this camera for my high school son. This is an excellent camera for a beginner. My son took a picture of moon. We can even see the surface of the moon. Awesome camera!

I'm a YouTuber and purchased this camera as an upgrade to shooting videos with my phone. Imagine my disappointment when I got it home to find that the video came out grainy. I assumed this was due to low lighting, although I did have several lights pointed at me. I tried to shoot video again the following day outdoors in optimal conditions. Video looked fine on the viewfinder, but when. I transferred it to my computer, it had the same grainy issue. This camera will be going back, as I get higher quality video using my cellphone. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the photo quality is fantastic.

This camera has everything I need for quick, quality shots. Nothing too fancy and complicated, but still takes really nice photos.

I love the quality of photos that I can take with this camera. My only issue with giving a full 5 stars is the on/of wifi connection, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Camera is great for beginners and easy to use for everyone.

The tripod mount is made of something like aluminum - being mounted to a normal stainless steel tripod very quickly stripped the mount's threads so it became unusable. Our company purchased this camera to use in a white box for product photography, so a tripod option was a must. After having a tripod gently attached and removed a few times in the space of two weeks, the mount stopped working on the last day we could possibly return it (which I suppose was a boon as Best Buy accepted it with no hassle and no questions asked... one day later and we might have had a different situation.) We chose not to replace the defective camera with an identical model and instead upgraded to a Nikon CoolPix B700 - much better construction and better quality. Would recommend against this camera (Canon Powershot SX530) if you need it for anything beyond point-and-shoot.

Haven't figured out how to use different features yet. But looks like a decent camera.

My daughter wanted the camera one model up from this for blogging, but it was well over twice the price. I bought her this one and she absolutely loves it. The biggest complaint is its size/weight compared to the newer models.

I have had this camera for 2 months now and I still have never seen it actually flash a light. Whenever I take a picture in a dark place, it tells me to raise the flash. The problem is that I can’t! I have spent hours tinkering around with the settings to try to enable the flash, but to no avail. I know it has a light above the lens. It just never turns on. It is otherwise an okay camera. Its picture quality is lower than I expected for a 16-megapixel camera, but it’s still not bad.

I bought this camera a year ago. My old cheap camera which I used so much it only works when I shake it takes clearer pictures! In the view finder they all look blurry. Most are clearer when loaded to my computer. I took pictures of a project with in 30 seconds half were clear and second half blurry. I literally walked across the street. It is also bulky and It won't fit my purse to carry with me everyday. I wish the lens retracted into the camera.
