I bought this camera on sale and it was totally worth it. Takes amazing pictures and I love the multishot with effects setting. You get filtered pictures without any work on your part. Amazing. Great zoom too.

Easy to use, great photos, 30x zoom lens was awesome

I love this camera! I had a Canon Powershot SX130 before this one and loved it, this SX530 blows the old one away. Great zoom and fast shutter speed are just 2 of the many great things about this camera.

I was a canon compact camera user for many years then when deciding to get a dslr went for Nikon. Although Not familiar with the settings, it was still great for the clear quality of the pictures. But it was heavy and bulky and can't fit into a medium size bag. So i decided let me go with canon (I'm familiar). This slr camera not only took clear shots like a dslr but also was easy to maneuver like a compact camera! Two in one!!! If I had only known years ago!!

This camera is a good option at a lower price point. We have some initial concerns about image quality for motion captures, but shots that are mostly still look good. The display is terrific, and the interface is easy enough to learn. A bit tricky to set up a wifi connection with a smart phone, but nothing that cannot be overcome!

Great point and shoot camera, wife wanted something nice, functional, but not your typical tiny digital camera. This was perfect for her. Zoom is great, light weight, easy enough to hold steady one handed and take great pics!

I bought this for the zoom lens - I have an active family and needed something with a great zoom for all our events. I love catching our family life in general with photographs and this camera gives great flexibility without the investment of a DSLR.

Great pics with a terrific zoom and ease of operation

Great for point and shoot and also the sophisticated shutter bug. Features normally in a digital SLR in a compact easy to use format. Still learning to use all the great features, and can't wait to use WiFi to upload and transfer pictures. Got the uber SD card so it will last through any family get together or vacation strip. Backing up to the cloud on computer or phone means no lost pictures if the camera gets stolen or has a issue. Also can take awesome video in HD, and have enough storage for a decent length of content.

We bought this camera for our son on his 9th birthday and have been really pleased. He is interested in photography and this is a great camera for him. It's easy to use and has many functions.

This is a great camera that takes the guesswork out of shooting. It adapts well to various situations and has been a great family camera so far! The zoom goes incredibly far, which helps to get some more candid shots (instead of being right in the subjects' faces). Works for me!

The Canon PowerShot SX530 HS was been a great product. The zoom works great. The pictures are absolutely superb. I have gotten in the habit of taking the lenses cover OFF and attaching it to the string, so it doesn't dangle down. All the functions work great. Glad I made my 'upgrade' purchase. 5 star

Takes great pictures with clarity and blurry free. The zoom is awesome because you don't have to worry about the object not coming out clear. This is by far the best camera I've ever purchase. I gave it 4stars because I would have loved for it to have a higher megapixels.

My camera is a few years old and perfectly fine, but I was looking for an update that would take better pictures at night. This camera takes great night photos. It is also lightweight and easy to carry. I love that it came with a lens cover and strap that can both be attached. The quality of photos is great. The only downside is it zooms from far away (plus) but not so much if you're right on top of something and trying to get a wonderful zoom/close-up. Perhaps there is a setting for it that would help, that I haven't discovered. I am using it on 'auto.' I think this camera is definitely worth the great price!

Easy to set up and use. Zoom is fantastic, I could see buttons on my husbands shirt 150 feet away. Very good battery life. Seems to be quite durable.

Was looking for a better camera that didn't take grainy pictures. This one has put out amazing pictures. There are so many features on the camera that I am still learning about new ones a month later. The only thing about this camera that gives me a 4 star is that I would prefer a flash that pops up at the press of a button rather than manually flipping it up. My reasoning is that if you catch the edge of the flash on something when it isn't up, you can potentially break the flash off it's hinges. Besides that one thing, this would be a definite 5 star purchase!

Has a good zoom but it takes a while to get used to adjust the zoom and take the picture quickly. Pictures are focused and clear. It's light and very easy to hold in one hand and snap the picture.

We travel a lot and wanted a light weight camera with great picture quality and this is definitely it! I can put it in my bag and god, very light and the WiFi feature is WONDERFUL.
