This is a great beginner camera that takes nice pictures and has a nice zoom. Night time pictures also turned out nice.

This was a present for my daughter and she is quite pleased with it. Takes quality pictures, but is missing a sport mode that wild be helpful. Good overall camera.

I bought this camera on the recommendation of a Best Buy employee. I explained that I wanted to be able to videotape a Christmas play and also take pictures. He assured me that it could do both. However I did not get the complete manual just a quick start manual initially. I had to call the company for a full manual and was asked did I want it in normal print or large print because it was printed per request. I of course ask for large print and was sent the tiniest book with words that couldn't have been any tinier. I also learned during the taping of the play that this camera only recordes up to 4 gigabytes at one time the camera would then have to be restarted. so without knowing this ahead of time we were not prepared to be ready to push the record button again and there are several missed areas in the play. However I will say that I got this camera too close to the date that I needed it and did not have enough time to review the quick start manual fully nor get online to be sure of how this camera worked. Overall is a very nice camera and I am happy with it I just wish I had more information about the camera initially with the camera instead of waiting for 4 weeks for the full manual.
