nice camera, a good size for hiking and casual use, professional grip, and big zoom. this would work for a serious beginner or for casual use for a pro who does not have space for the big camera and all the gear.

I was looking for a camera that could do the thinking for me. The zoom on this camera is great. I used it at a soccer tournament in Phoenix and it took great sports photos from a distance. The best thing is that it is a simple camera to operate and takes great photos.

I am a novice and wanted something a little better than my phone camera and a cheap point and shoot - the clearness is great much better than a phone and my point and shoot. It is easy to use --of course I did not read the instruction (I'm a Man!) but I am getting great pictures.

Purchased this camera in March and have used it on a few occasions to date. So far, I really like it and picture quality is great (compared to my old camera). Easy to use. Only downfall I've found so far is the battery life - will look into buying a spare battery to keep charged up to switch out with.

I have a Rebel XSI but it is too heavy for everyday use...needed something lighter, this Powershot fits the bill...lightweight, good pictures in low light, great micro, great zoom, good price. Worried about only having an LCD viewfinder but it is great, even at the beach!

This camera is very lightweight and is easy to tote around. I recently used the camera at the San Diego Zoo and it captured wonderful shots. I put it on fully automatic, and it did all the work. I'm very pleased!

I have several Canon cameras, and this one is a good camera for the price. The wi-fi isn't as easy to upload pictures as the description makes it out to be, but if you have an adapter cord it will still work. Picture quality is very good, and the camera is lightweight so it makes it easier to handle.

Great camera! Long battery life and with 50X optical zoom a whole new world of being able to take close ups without having to be close is within reach. I also like the standard lens cap instead of the automatic closing cap that usually doesn't do as well.

Easy to use as a camera. The wifi feature connection to non NFC devices is not intuitive.

This camera takes great pictures and it's not as big and bulky as the other high dollar cameras.

I don't consider myself a photographer, but I like to have the option of taking a wide variety of pictures. I can take a picture at night like the moonbow at Cumberland falls ,or something that's moving very fast and not get blurr, or something far away and get a clear close up picture. I can do just about anything with this camera that the so called photographers can do with cameras 3 or more times as expensive as this one. And I don't have to take a class to figure out how to use it. No offense to those who do.

The Wifi set-up needs to be explained step-by-step. Besides that, the camera is worth the price
