I bought this to replace an earlier mode that i had for years...It has many of the same features but comes with WiFI....I called customer support at Canon because I had trouble setting that up and finally gave up. It's fine just to use the cable to transfer pictures. This camera is bulkier that the older model and takes awhile to get used to. Many of the features are very advanced for my use. For some reason, I have more trouble using this camera for extreme closeups than i had with the early model. Overall, it's OK. I liked the smaller, earlier version better, though.

Replaced a Nikon with this camera. This one is so much more user friendly. Picture quality is very good . Good camera for the price.

Great camera for a beginner, easy to use, lightweight, going to take it on a trip in June. Instructions easy to read.

I really like the way pictures come out on auto. It's great for a beginner, it has the option to take raw photos so you can practice your shooting in different times of the day.

I like the camera--nice zoom--few issues on flash--it tells me to use flash but then lightens up picture to much, when no flash took a better picture--still testing and getting used to--was worth sale price

This is a nifty lightweight camera that takes excellent indoor and outdoor photographs. It's great to have changeable settings for ISO and fstop for more variety in shots.

Easy to use camera that takes great pics in all light conditions. Terrific zoom to 50x. Small enough to fit in a purse. Excellent quality for a good price! :)

This camera was easy to use straight out of the box. I was able to go through the basic settings quickly and am looking forward to using some of the more advanced settings in the near future. I recommend it for the beginner.

Have used a few times since buying it. I'm really pleased with the pictures. Easy to review your pictures after taking them. Would buy again.

The camera takes great pictures. The app for smartphone is bad but the camera has great functions. Sadly it is only screen. If you want great pictures and a easy use camera, this is what you need

Really like this camera. Had bought a Nikon B500 which was hard to work with. Wifi never did work. The canon Wifi works well an it's other features are great and easy to use.

This camera is great to use because it is lightweight, not so troublesome to carry around with you. the pictures are clear and the colors are great.

Purchased this item as a gift for my husband. He likes the features that the camera has and the fact that the camera is straight forward to use. He is also pleased with the quality of the pictures.

Ready to go with a charge. No long learning curve needed. Easy to understand user manual. Lots more information to study all the bells and whistles as needed.

It's a good camera if you are just beginning photography, you'll be able to see and learn similar features that are in a DSLR. It's pretty good honestly for the price and for a first camera

My wife needed a new camera and wanted one that was automatic focus, this camera fit the requirements plus more. Size/weight is perfect for her and the zoom is excellent.
