This camera is a decent starter camera for someone who wants to take nice pictures, with a camera, but isn’t trying to be a professional. It seems to be pretty sturdy too.

I bought my caera fir a trip overseas. Thought that I would just take a few pick and ended up taking about 12000 of the best pictures ever. I absolutely love this camera.

I have not used it to it's fullest potential yet, but I have another Canon and it has been a very good camera. I expect to find this one to be as good if not better.

Bought this as a gift. Great beginner camera, but ended up switching to Canon EOS Rebel T6 DSLR for more of a challenge and additional lenses.

The camera focus is good takes good pictures but when you try to connect to your phone doesn't connect idk why.

My sister is an amateur photographer and she loves this. Has plenty of features without being too overwhelming. Great camera!

This is a great little camera. It takes lovely photos for the price, and does well with video. A very good buy.

Have taken it on some great trips and taken well over 3000 photos. Long distance and close ups it takes real good photos.

I really like it becauses it's so simple to use but only thing I don't like is how it doesn't come with a screen to see when your vlogging yourself other than that it's good for the price!

Replaced Canon PowerShot SX150 IS with newer model as SX150 is no longer available. The SX530 has increased zoom capability and more megapixels, but seems to have trouble focusing when trying to zoom in from a distance, so I often cannot get a clear shot: this never happened with the SX150, which got phenomenal shots, including action ones (figure skating being a good example). The other downside is that the lithium battery only lasts for about 200-250 photos, a capability that is considerably less than the SX150 which used AA batteries which would last weeks and take hundreds of photos, not a few hours and only about 200 pictures. A good camera, but despite increased technical capabilities, the old camera was superior in capturing clear close-ups, in battery life, and in ease of use.

The zoom is fantastic. Sharp pictures. Fast action shots are not the best for this camera but overall I'd give it 5 stars. Wifi syncing is easy and friendly to use.

Since buying this camera all our pictures turn out better then before, looking forward to getting the attachments for future use in different states as we travel.

My daughter wanted to step up her photo game and this was a reasonable way to do it without breaking the bank. She seems happy with it.

My son loves the camera. He is taping his AAU basketball games. He enjoys the clear-it of the taping and the quality of the audio.

I needed an above average camera for business related purposes. So far this one has worked out perfect! The 50X zoom is AWESOME!

Took this camera to the Grand Canyon. It took beautiful shots and was very easy to use. I love the feature where you can connect wireless to devices to share photos.

This camera is great for us. We are able to get nice zoom pictures without the hassle of changing lenses. If only it had a viewfinder. Difficult to get good shots in bright sunlight.
