The perfect beginner camera

Zoom is the best feature.

Sent to Canon repair

She only used it for a couple of weeks and the screen went black, making the camera unusable. We contacted Canon and sent the camera to them. They replied back that they could not repair that camera, and sent us a brand new replacement. The entire process took about a week. I am hoping this is not a pattern - and their customer service was great.
