This takes pics on par with my DSLR. I went to Best Buy for a more expensive camera but they didn't have it in stock and I purchased this one. Great decision and perfect advice by the Best Buy employee, who I forget her name. AND you will regret not using Canon photo paper. It makes a HUGE difference.

This camera not only looks good and is very compact, but takes good pictures, at least good enough for a regular guy and not a pro-photographer. The best price and features for this type of camera, it has a 1/2.3" sensor, which is standard for cameras around this price, it records in HD which is a plus, I think the way the flash works on this camera is very convenient, if you want flash then you pop out the flash with a button on the side of the camera, you don't have to click on the menu, scroll down, select flash, etc etc. It is very easy to use, the only complaint I have is that the screen is a little blurry to me, the specs say that it is a High Resolution screen but it is not, it looks high resolution when the pictures are reviewed on the camera but not while focusing, so it is a bit misleading. Great buy for a point and shoot camera.

I didn't know quite what to expect from such a modestly priced camera, but I must say that I've been more than pleased. It takes great pictures at just about any distance and the zoom functions well throughout. If you need a handy and inexpensive camera that won't disappoint, this is a great buy.

Needed a camera that could get a good photo from distance and still be clear when you zoom the photo for detail like writing. This camera dose really well at this.

It’s been to Iceland, Denmark and Norway and given us great photos. I specifically bought this model for it’s metal body. Have used Canon pocket cameras for years and always found them convenient and reliable. The only issue I have with this model is having less control or options on the flash. There is no longer a feature for constant on flash, that I sometimes want for fill, and I sometimes have to “cheat” the reading to get it. Other models had a constant on flash setting - maybe this does too, and I haven’t found it yet! Movie setting is also different and took some adjusting from previous models. But overall, a hardy little camera.

The wifi seemed difficult to set up and connect. I didn't like having to take the battery out to charge and I didn't realize you had to pop up the flash to use it. I need to take a lot of low light pictures and this didn't do the job for me.

This camera has been used on my travels and it is amazing to see all of the great videos and pictures that it shoots. I was a bit iffy when I first purchased it because there were other more expensive cameras with better features but you honestly get the bang for your buck with this one.

I am not sure I could have picked a better camera. My only regret is that I did not get the next one up that had a higher zoom. The camera took beautiful pics. I highly recommend this camera. If you can afford the higher zoom, I would get that one if it is Canon.

I love this camera, it took me a little while to figure it out but right now I think it’s great. When you take pictures you can see different versions of the picture . Fool around with this for a while and find out what you like . All in all a great Point and shoot camera.

The camera is really good. When I took pictures of my grandkids there wasn't a delay to take another picture like my old Sony camera. I was able to take one picture after another without the kids getting antsy between pictures.

The PowerShot SX620 is a great point and shoot camera. The zoom lens brings the far away very close. However, a tripod is probably necessary, as at that magnification, camera movement is pronounced. But excellent video and fabulous pictures make this camera a smart buy.

I wanted a smaller, quality camera for a Disneyland trip. I have a Fuji S1 and it's a great camera, just too bulky to carry around all day. Did a lot of research and settled on the SX620. It's an excellent buy and takes awesome pictures, all in a tiny, compact body!

Good quality but it has a plastic battery cover which feels cheap. Also, unlike the Powershot 190 you can't force the flash to operate which leads to darker picture when inside.

I haven't started using any of the other features of this wonderful camera because the Auto settings have worked just great. It's small enough to carry in my purse which is a feature I really like. I toured all of Washington DC, went to the Outer Banks and took a lot of great pictures.

I would prefer to have bought another camera like the one I had. The Cannon SX 160 IS, but could not find one similar. This camera is much smaller, but does what I need one for. Have not made enough shots to have printed yet, so cannot fully write a complete review.
