Bought this camera over 4 years ago to replace a Canon point and shoot that I returned cause the battery charge did not last long. This camera is super. I have taken hundreds of photos on a single charge. It does not need to be charged very often. I think the quality of the photos are excellent for a point and shot. I use this camera as a carry along on my bicycle road rides. I am an amateur photography with 2 Nikon DSLRs. In some environments this camera is comparable to my Nikons!

This is a very light-weight, many-features, high-quality, easy-to-learn, powerful-zoom pocket camera that would absolutely rate 5 stars IF it had a manual focus feature in addition to its usually-excellent autofocus operation. A worthy addition would be a similar model with a viewfinder (although the image screen usually works quite well).

The Canon - PowerShot SX620 HS 20.2-Megapixel Digital Camera is great if you are new to photography like me. It takes really sharp 1080p pictures/video, its also small enough to travel with and fits very easily into your purse, pocket or backpack. It's very easy to follow the instruction manual, clean and very easy to use. You can also connect very easily to your wireless devices like your mobile phone, tablet, computer and printer. You can also insert a micro SDX photo card to store all of your great videos/pictures with out it eating up all your data space like on your phone. Overall this makes a great gift for that special someone and it's budget friendly. However you choose to use this wonderful camera make sure you capture what inspires you and have lots of fun creating new memories. Enjoy!

I needed a new camera to take on a trip to Europe. This has the megapixels and the zoom that I wanted. But it also has the ability to do close up photos as well. It's small enough to fit in my pocket, but has the qualities I needed for a trip. Easy to hold and light. Love this camera!

The Canon PowerShot SX620 HS 20.2 Megapixal Digital Camera is a great small camera. I have purchased this camea and really like it. This camera will fit into a purse, pocket, backpack or handbag. I enjoy this camera so much and take it every time I go anywhere. It is easy to use for everyone's use. My grandchild is only five and he captures great pictures with it. It is durable and strong. I have three small digital camers this one is my favorite. Really like the rechargable battery. Take great pic.

Bought this camera since I was taking my kids to The Bronx Zoo. The camera worked amazing. Zoomed in and took really clear shots. Only issues I had was occasionally it would take awhile to get the camera to focus when using the zoom. Is definitely going to be perfect to use for any family gathering or events. The battery also stayed full for the 6 hours we were at the zoo.

Took this camera on my vacation to Peru. The size was perfect since it fit in my coat pocket making it easy to access and take a photo any time. Easy to use, and the pictures were awesome.

The zoom, HD video, and wifi are definitely worth the extra price, compared to some other 20MP for a hundred dollars cheaper. With a steady hand, you can zoom in 100x and see detailed images almost 200 yards away. To connect to your phone, you have to download an app; the wifi connection works very well, and you can add photos to your phone in seconds. With a computer, it is easier to simply remove the SD card and plug it in to the computer. I was able to take over 400 pictures, and the battery level only decreased one bar. With the auto feature set, it can be troublesome to take pictures in low light, but there are tons of settings to help you out.

Took this camera with me to Paris and it worked awesome! Battery life was fine and took perfect pictures. Very easy to use

I'm glad I bought it but it has a few issues. The battery did not last very long and stopped charging after one charge. It told me it wasn't a real Canon battery. That was problematic because I bought it just prior to going on vacation to have a better camera than my IPhone 7. I found two aftermarket batteries and a car charger on the road and they worked so well, I really only needed one. It is a much better camera, than the IPhone 7, but my biggest disappointment was my inability to get decent photos of the stars and moon in the desert sky. I tried every setting for hours and hours. Vibrant is a little too "vibrant" It will take a woman's face from "discreet" to saloon hooker. LOL. The Zoom feature was the best part. For my taste, it has a few too many artsy settings to throw fairy dust on your photo but I guess to each his own. I guess the sad part is that I will probably need to run all my vacation photos--- (600) through a photo app or software before I post them. But they are good photos to start with. But my wife just bout an IPhone 8 and it takes a better standard picture than this camera if you don't need zoom and 20mp density photos. The other nice thing is that adding another 600 photos to my IPhone might start giving me memory issues, at least with cloud back up. So I am glad I bought it, but will use it for the zoom feature in the outdoors mostly.

This is the 5th Canon digital camera I have owned. In terms of picture quality meets expectations as usual. Zoom works great 25x. Camera is very compact and light. This is a great camera on trips for ppl who don't want to lug around a bulky and heavy SLR. Only concerns would be the life of the lithium ion battery as it is proprietary. And battery has to be charged with the charger from Canon.

We purchased this camera for our trip and worked well. Good zoom, decent picture time. Small enough to be user friendly, but not too bulky. Not a fan of the little flash that you manually operate on top, but all in all a decent camera for the price.

I have had this camera for a few weeks and have loved it so far! The zoom is great! My pictures have come out crystal clear, even when my kids are moving as I take them! It is certainly not a professional camera, I have one of those too, but is great for travel! I bought this camera primarily to take on vacations when my other camera is too big and bulky. The size of this one is perfect and the features are great for what I need! I have figured out how to post pictures to Facebook from the camera which is a cool little feature! My friends have all asked which camera I have after seeing those pics as they have come out so clear! So far I love this camera!

I was frustrated by three year old camera that I have because of all the complicated symbols and interminable technological terms and symbols that do nothing but confuse and annoy us. This Canon camera is very compact but allows me to take pictures easily and make adjustments to lighting, zooming in, and eliminating pictures that I don’t want to keep without a multitude of complicated steps or frustrating symbols that offer no help at all. NowI won’t be too embarrassed to hand my camera over to a friend to take pictures for me because of the annoying garbage that pops up. If you want relief from such over-loaded cameras that do nothing but confuse, get this Canon camera and start to enjoy taking pictures again !
