great camera. great pictures. easy to learn. point and shoot

This is a good camera that takes good action pictures. Sometimes pictures come out blurry and features are a little confusing at first, but does good when you start figuring out the different settings. Not quite worth the money but in comparison to other cameras would still probably buy this one.

I purchased this camera before a trip to Europe and it worked out great. The zoom is amazing, and the shots come out great. I pretty much just left it in auto mode. I even did a couple videos. It does well at Low light shots, and the image stabilization works well. Battery charge lasted a good amount of time, though definitely invest in a spare for a full day of picture taking.

Bought it as a birthday gift to my husband. He loves to take pictures but doesn't want a bulky camera like dslr...this camera takes great pictures and very handy! Love this camera myself!

I am impressed with the quality of the photos when using this Canon PowerShot SX710 HS camera. The zoom is great and we are getting high quality photos even when zooming people or things from a large distance. When taking photos and reviewing photos taken, the camera is easy to use. The photos were easily transferred to the smartphone. However, we were not able, even with a phone call to Canon, to get the photos transferred by WiFi to our I-mac. We finally got them transferred by taking the photo disk out of the camera and putting it into our computer. Were it not for this glitch, I would have given the camera an excellent rating.

i really like this camera, it's handy size and packed with features. The long zoom is amazing! I wish it had a beach scene mode, but other than that, nothing is missing from the feature set I was looking for.

For the price and specifications of the camera, I expected a better image reproduction. I purchased this camera as a replacement for a SX150IS that had started to have some problems. That camera and the new one is used to take on travels when my DSLR is too much to carry with me. The camera does has some nice features, but the images it produces are not as pleasing as the ones made by the old SX150. The images remind me of photos taken with one of the better cell phone cameras. If the camera was priced about $100.00 less, then it might be worth the costs.

We have had two prior Canon Powershot models. This one replaces one that got dropped and damaged the lens. The SX 710 is great in every way except the manual open and close of the flash. I wish it had the 10 frame burst function that other Powershots have.

Finally have a zoom in a small camera that really zooms. Even full zoom pictures come out very clear. Automatic focus feature is great because my eyes are not. I hope this camera lasts a very long time.

I did a lot of camera research before deciding on this one for our summer vacation. After making this purchase, I was not disappointed! The camera performed better than expected and gave us amazing photos of the scenery out west! All the lighting in our pictures was perfect and all the photos are very clear and crisp!

Compact, light weight, loads of features. Easy to use, 30x zoom. Recommend this camera for the traveller who doesn't want to carry a bulky DSLR.
