Learning curve required for newbies like me.

Be aware that even though it's a point and shoot camera, it still has a bit of a learning curve to use well. There's still a lot we need to learn about the camera, but with only watching a few YouTube videos, we were up and running enough for our trip in no time. ^_^

zoom and ease of operation are terrific

This camera has many features that give you good value for your dollar. My two favorites are ease of operation and the clarity of photos taken with the zoom lens.
