It is a great camera for beginners capable for capturing sharp image once the object is in the focus. Easy to use. Transfer of image is using the USB cable as the wifi operation is not ease to set up.

Get great results with this point and shoot.... love the cotinous shooting and the incredible optical zoom. Small and easy to take anywhere. Great price too. The wifi connection is less than optimal as you must connect to their site.

This pocket size point and shoot is very good. My favorote thing is how it focuses on point and blurs the background making the objects pop out. Very easy to use, easy to carry around, good battery life also.

I wanted a zoom camera as good as my Canon SX50 but smaller and able to fir in most bags and this one even goes in some pockets. 40X zoom is perfect for the wildlife pics and convention photo's I take.

I bought the camera before going to Southeast Asia tour. Its a small camera but takes good pictures. The quality is as good my husbands Cannon EOS Rebel T5.It is easy to use, carry in my purse, nice auto zoom and reasonable price.

This camera takes great pictures and is compact and easy to carry. It also takes great HD video. I had an older one for several years and that's why I bought this newer, upgraded one.

I'm new to this kind of camera, and the language in the book and on the website was far from specific enough for me. Further, I was advised in the store that I would not need a cable to connect the camera to my computer, but the owner's manual--when I had read that far in it--was definite that I needed it; so I had to go and buy one, and no one at the store was quite sure what the right one was. The one I bought turned out to work. I am slowly beginning to get used to the camera, but its relation to my computer is still laborious and tricky. (That, of course, is a computer problem, not your camera salesman's problem.) In sum, though, the camera seems to be what I need, and I am pleased with the pictures it takes.

I wanted a compact camera to carry with me that would work well in low light, would have zoom and macro capability as well as automatic and manual settings. I'm having a lot of fun playing with it but it will take a while to learn how to use all of the various features!

Super easy to use never picked up the manual once. I am a cheap simpleton that enjoys a plug and play. I wanted to do a lot of night shots without having to buy an eos camera which to me is falling down a rabbit hole I simply cannot afford. I don’t want to carry a myriad of lenses especially if I travel. I believe you can capture stellar night shots without going broke. I got the moon but not the stars. I am shopping for my next point and shoot so I can show the world my demise.

I use this Canon Powershot camera to take photos of used books which I sell online. I'm surprised how this camera lights up the subject so well without needing the flash, even with the overhead light off to avoid glare on a shiny book cover. I'm enjoying the ease of learning to use this camera and its zoom capabilities well. Our visiting eagles came up close and sharp!

I am a commercial real estate appraiser and use this camera for my work. It handles focus and lighting automatically (in auto mode) and provides sharp images that I can easily use for my appraisal reports. I add a viewer protector because I very occasionally drop the camera when I am in a hurry or switch from picture-taking to note writing.

Overall this is a decent little camera. I am not a pro photographer, but wanted a good camera with zoom that was easy to travel with. This fits the bill. In order to get good photos when you are zoomed far out, you really need a tripod (not so easy to travel with). I am disappointed that is doesn't seem to have a wide angle setting. I would recommend this for someone looking for a compact decent point and shoot.

I bought this for our Alaska vacation. It performed better than I expected. The 40x zoom brought distant wildlife up close. I even had people in our tour group looking at the screen! I would highly recommend it.

This is my 3rd Canon point-and-shoot camera in 15 years, so I knew the quality would be excellent. I wanted a pink one, but only red is available now. The zoom and convience of a small camera fit my needs perfectly. The picture quality never lets me down, even with long zooms (eagle pic below).

High-quality camera! It has an excellent feel when you hold in your hand. The group is excellent. The photo quality is equivalent to that of a professional camera. Love the 40 mm lens. All in all, I can honestly say I am very happy with the camera and it is one of the best investments I've made.
