The only downfall I've seen is that it won't connect to my phone. I didn't know that it only worked with certain ones. Oh, well. I just pop out the card, put it in the computer, and download the old way. But if this is the deciding feature for you, you might want to check and see if it works with your phone before buying.

Test it out in-store - you will be reading labels on TV boxes on the other side of the store. Takes great pictures although not at a speed you would get with a more expensive DSLR. The wifi features are a little flaky - I have had trouble pairing it to more than one phone and got frustrated. The camera can take a short video with each photo you take (similar to the live photos on a iPhone 6) but stitches all the clips together into one long video. Very cool.
