I love this camera!! Compact and easy to carry! Takes awesome pictures!!! Excellent sport mode!!

This is a great little camera that has an amazing zoom and fits nicely in a travel bag or purse.

This camera is small enough to put in my purse and takes great pictures. The only knock is that it doesnt have an eye viewer.

Overall this camera does what it should and it takes pictures in a somewhat compact form factor. It has the settings you would want from a point and shoot, and some extra settings for those who like to tweak their settings a bit. Essentially, it is a Canon point and shoot as you would expect it to be, and I certainly expected it to be as it was going to be my 4th Canon in the last 10 years. Unfortunately, this camera was just underwhelming picture after picture. I bought this camera right before a trip to the Colorado mountains, excited to get some great pictures of snow and wildlife. Everything looked great on the tiny display, and it seemed like everything would be just as great as I expected it to be once I transferred them to my computer. It was not. The colors were dull, the pictures were grainy even with a minimal amount of zoom applied, and ultimately it was a poor showing. Thinking maybe it was just a settings issue, I went out and tried some more picture with different settings. Still just as dull and underwhelming. This $450 point and shoot was no better than a $200 knock off, at best. I returned it and went against every bone in my body and bought a Sony. Not that Sony isn't also a great brand, but I have never been a fan of their camera either point and shoot, or SLR. Instantly the pictures from the Sony were easily 10x better. Colors were bright and vibrant both on the camera and on the computer. Zoom wasn't distorting pictures like you had taken it with a smart phone. The point and shoot I expected from the Canon, was here in my hands without a Canon name. I think they simply missed the mark with this version, and hopefully when I check them out again next year they will have fixed whatever issues they may have had here.

I was looking for a point and shoot camera for a trip. I wanted something better then my smartphone. I compared a few models but this was the best. The main feature is the zoom. This camera has a great zoom 40x if I recall the proper specs and the pictures are crystal clear. It’s about $100 more then the step down version but worth the investment.

This camera was easy to use for my Hawaiian vacation. I was looking for a "point and shoot" camera versus my large camcorder I previously used. The only issue was downloading the pictures and movies to my smartphone. There are (2) Camera Connect icons available and if you use the wrong one, they will not download. I had to use the one with the blue signs on the left side before it would download properly.

For years the only camera we've had is that in our cell phones. Finally decided to get an actual camera for better quality pictures and video. Did some research on the pros and cons of the different types of cameras. Finally decided to see and test them in store. This is an overall great camera for general use. I think it outperformed most of the more expensive point and shoot cameras they had on display.

The camera is small enough to throw in a purse or backpack but has the features and zoom ability of a bigger camera.

Camera takes very good pictures. Is also good for video. Camera is easy to use.

Got the new camera. Read the manual as needed. Clear. Concise. Had a few questions on how to get the pictures off the camera/share by phone and called. At first I was re ferred to the phone people, but eventually I ended up back at the camera guy. He talked fast and acted like he was in a hurry, but I did get the pictures to my wife's phone. Of course, I don't remember how to do it and now I'm in the same boat again. Camera is good. Support sketchy.

I bought this Canon because of the 40x optical zoom that it offers. So far, I love it. It has a great ability to stabilize videos from very far away. One thing to note - set that setting for the quality of videos you want before you start filming. I spent my first event recording in low quality video mode. This bad boy can film up to 60 frames per second in the highest quality mode.

Haven’t really used my camera yet. Decided to upgrade my previous Canon camera and really liked all the features on the SX730 and it’s incredible zoom

Pic quality is great! Camera is easy to use. Zoom comes in handy.

Setting up WiFi wasn’t too difficult. Tried a couple of test shots before a weekend trip to Lancaster. I took many shots from the back of a moving buggy (walking speed), with zoom and they came out clear. None of my old cameras would have done that. I had set the camera to auto setting and hoped for the best. Definitely not disappointed. Thanks Canon.
