I specifically wanted the camera for long distance shots and this works Must have a steady hand or use a tripod when taking the longest distance photos The biggest drawback is there is no viewfinder so why you cannot wear sunglasses when taking a long distance shots because you will not be able to see what’s in the screen

I bought this for a cruise to UK and Ireland. Wanted to get decent photos without having to have take my SLR and big lenses. Fantastic full features on this little "whiz kid." Compact, easy to use, superb photos, and wifi. Who could ask for anything more?

This seems to be a great little camera for those of us who need all the photography details handled for us. I do wish the record button for video was a little larger and more conveniently placed, especially as video is not one of the features you can trigger remotely with the free app.

Way too complicated for what I wanted. Difficult to use Bluetooth functions. Pictures are better than fair. Perhaps I should have purchased a simpler camera for my basic point and shoot needs. I definitely overpaid for much technology I will never use

WE have only had limited use so far. It takes awhile to used to all of the different settings and what they mean. It works to just use "auto" but I think we could get better shots if we used some of the other settings at times.

I got the camera to for my china trip and it performed well.

I have periodically purchased several of the Canon SX series cameras and have always found them reliable, giving excellent images with simple settings. More experience photo buffs may want RAW images to manipulate, but for a point and shoot camera this is a great unit.

This camera takes sustainable and quality pictures. Comes with a few modes and filters, however not too many. The camera is pretty basic. However, is still a pretty good camera.

This is a great camera for someone who doesn't know much about operating a camera but wants great photos. I bought it for my recent Baltic Cruise and love the results.

Do you feel like being in school just so you can download pictures from a camera you spent hundreds of dollars on? Then this is the camera for you. Do they include a cable for you to easily download your pictures from your camera?...No they don't. But they do make you register your camera, download multiple apps and set up access points and all kinds of pain in the butt things just to download your pictures. Camera has nice features so too bad you want to throw it out the window if you aren't tech saavy. I am busy and don't have time to jump through so many hoops just to download my pics, I will never buy a Canon again.

This is an "OK" camera and unfortunately didn't live up to my expectations compared to my Samsung Wb350f. Unfortunately, I accidently dropped my Samsung camera and the lens was bent and unable to move back into the casing. So, one of Best Buys representatives highly recommended the Canon Power Shot and said it was superior to the Samsung I had. Not true! First, the canon does not have a touch screen, the colors viewed in the picture are not true to what the naked eye sees or when printed, it's slow at focusing on objects and it is very particular about close ups and often snaps pictures very fuzzy. You also have to be super still to take a picture and don't breathe to get a half way non-fuzzy picture. Most of the pictures I've recently taken are slightly fuzzy and they were not moving objects. So, for a basic camera, it's "OK" but all the bells and whistles listed are poor compared to the hefty price tag, I would not have purchased it if I had known what I was REALLY getting. So, I'm going to try and get my Samsung fixed. Not happy about my Canon Power Shot purchase at all!
