Having Original Equipment from Manufacturer is better and safer for the end user. PRO: OEM, warranty;BB Price was lower then Manufacturer site CON: none so far

Extra battery as backup. Not expensive and the weight is light.

I shopped this on many sites and store because of the high cost on the new batteries. Best Buy had the best price and in stock at my local. Super easy and convenient. Battery works great.

Purchased as extra battery for new Canon T6i camera. Have attempted to use off brand batteries in the past, but was disappointed. Other brands didn't last nearly as long as Canon brand.

Never rely on just one battery for your camera. You never know when it will be depleted and at the moment of creating memories you will want a fully charged back up battery!

I hate that Canon makes a very specific battery for each of it's own cameras. These things are expensive but don't buy the third party batteries as they do not work nearly as good.

The Canon - Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery for Canon LP-E17 works perfectly, nice having a back up battery instead of having to wait for only one to charge.

This is a must for anyone. I have had a few times that the battery went dead in the middle of one of my kids game. A quick switch and I was back in business.

This is the battery needed for my Canon RP(used for Canon rebels too). I had to buy 2 backup batteries in order to take a full day of photos(would need more if I bought generic, and the price is similar). Best Buy had the best price I could find. Ordering online was easy, and the shipping was free.
