I needed a 2nd battery for my canon sl2. Which I love. You should always have at least 1 back up battery for any electronic device.

Gotten as a second battery for my canon rebel t6i works way better then the knock offs.

Having a 2nd battery is necessary when you own a DSL Camera . I prefer a Canon as it’s an easy camera to use

I've only been using this battery for a couple weeks and haven't had any issues. Was using on a trip to the UK where I was doing lots of tours and sightseeing and I made it through a couple days of use before recharging, and only recharged out of caution, not that it seemed to need it.
