    This genuine Canon battery is required if you want to see the battery level in cameras such as the M5 and Rebel T7i. Unlike cameras such as the 5d III which work just fine with good, aftermarket (and much cheaper) batteries.

    I had to return this item because I didn’t need it anymore. You can get the of brand canon battery much cheaper.

    Information on Website stated that this battery is also compatible with the Canon Rebel T7, which is a false statement. I have yet to go to Bestbuy to return this but doubt they will accept it as it is "NON RETURNABLE" so we'll see when I do stop by. There's no negative stars so I'll just put 1 star.
