This battery came at a great price and is a Must Have for any Canon DSLR users. Be sure to check the specs against the actual model you own as they are not universal. The battery came out of the package mostly charged. I've used it 3 times since purchasing and have had no issues.

I got this as a spare battery for my canon R8 camera. Works just fine. Last about two days during my trip which I used my camera to capture about 200-300 pictures a day.

I purchased a new camera and because the battery life was reported to be limited I purchased a second battery. I am very happy with this decision, the battery life on the camera is better than I had anticipated but since I primarily use the camera while backpacking and have no way to recharge I wanted a back up. With 2 batteries I was able to spend 10 days in the back country and take some video and over 500 pictures. My biggest wish was that canon had a charger that was compatible with solar capability.

Good value for the price. I always buy and extra battery for my camera and keep it charged.

Works well with the Canon R8. Used to record video and lasts about 2 hours.

Does its job. Bought this extra battery for a trip to Hawaii. Good thing i did because i was taking photos all day.

Thank goodness for a quality OEM part. I previously cut corners and bought a generic battery for my camera and it lasted about a month. I know I can trust Canon to send quality and should have done it long ago. Only downfall is that these batteries aren't cheap.

I decided to purchase this extra Canon battery for my Canon T8i so that I will always have a ready to use battery. There is nothing more disappointing than being out taking photos and your battery goes dead. So with a spare, I am always prepared.

Worked great in my Canon EOS 77D for my ireland trip. Used it for a good part of a few day trips in a row and it stayed at almost full battery for almost a full week (still showed 3 bars when we got home) impressive thing!

Title pretty much says it all. Battery works great and charges quickly. The price of the mess things are just way to high for a perishable item.

Purchased a backup battery for my yearbook camera. I never know if the previous photographer charged up the batteries before handing off the camera, so I like to keep one on the charger - it's a quick switch out if needed.

Good solid battery. Very expensive for what you get so value isnt there. But there are not many 3rd party options either.

So. My I used my T6i. It discharged. I charged the battery and it never turned back on. I took a risk buying this battery because I didn’t know if it was actually the battery that was faulty or something else. It was & it worked great:D!

You gotta have at least one extra battery right? Only gripe would be the price, but they know you ain't coming back for years so the price is what it is.

The non Canon batteries I purchased didnt hold a long charge. Canon batteries are the best.

I needed a back up battery - for a camera I'd purchased from Best Buy the day prior - and was happy to have found it in the store since I had a photo gig the same day and would need an extended battery life. The employee who assisted me was very helpful and led me right to what I needed.
