There are so many technical aspects beyond just providing power that batteries need to account for now with modern-dy equipment. Yes, it costs more (and why this isn't a 5-star review), but this will be the best choice for the long-term. Will other batteries work (ie. Watson, Neewer, etc.)? Yes...and I've used them before. But they don't tend to last as long, and I get weird battery life readings. Stay with the brandname for your equipment for video and photography direct-connect needs like this.
