Great unit. Photos are clear and vivid. Additional ink and paper is reasonably priced.

Good print quality...once you get past the setup, which is almost comically difficult. I spent well over an hour working past the confusing instructions (both the package insert and the online version) for how to connect wirelessly, from my phone and from my Mac Mini. The instructions led me to several very frustrating dead-ends. I was on the verge of packing it up and returning it. It now appears to be working, albeit the Canon software and pop-up screen are clunky and not intuitive. Also, the external charger is very heavy and bulky; something to consider if you're planning (as am I) to travel with this unit. Furthermore, the photo paper tray doesn't nest nicely into the printer unit, making packing more awkward. Were I to do this again, I'd get the competing product (I'll not name it) that can be powered by a USB source, and which has a nicely designed magnet-abetted nest for the paper tray. Although that product is a bit more bulky, it is probably ends up to be about the same as the Selphy when you consider the Selphy's external charging unit and non-integrated photo tray storage. Also...I'm not at all sure that the Selphy's pop-up screen adds anything but complexity, if you consider that all of its functions could be more simply provided by a well-designed cell-phone application. I might mention that the Selphy iPhone app simply doesn't work.

Printer is awesome. I'm a scrapbooker..so now I don't have to run to the store to print pictures I want to scrape!!!

Wish I would have known about this printer when it first released. This was easy to set up.

I have owned one for almost two years. I recently gave two out as Christmas gifts. Both families are really enjoying having their own. The end product is an actual photo, The app is easy to use, photos print quickly and there’s no dry time needed. I haven’t had this many printed photos in years, to keep or send to others.
