It was confusing at first. The instruction were somewhat confusing. I had to put the book down and come back to it. Once I got the WiFi part connected.........It was down hill. Connect to the App for my phone and BOOM.............it activated the printer and it really was a great surprise. I was shocked how well the photos came out

Pictures are really great and it's so easy to use!

It is easy to use when you want to print directly from your smart phone! This printer has great color. It seems like you should be able to print more prints per ink cartridge but I'm not trying to print an entire photo album in one sitting either. Nice and convenient to have this printer when I do want to make some hard copies.

No computer needed, print right from iPhone, LOVE IT!

This printer is awesome! Prints 4x6 photos perfect everytime as if you went to an actual photo lab, and it only takes a few seconds per photo. I used to work in a photo lab and the ink in this printer is the same as the actual photo printers at the labs.

The Selphy printer is great for when you need a quick print job. It was cool to use with students because it prints each color as a new layer and feeds it back through each time. It was a great tool to reinforce color theory and how blending works, as well as getting their photos printed for display on the spot.

Overall this thing is pretty neat. I bought it for my mother to print out pictures she has on her phone. Setup is simple. You need a specific app to select the pics to send to the device. There is an issue where the photo has to be a certain size or it will not print. For example my mother had cropped some pictures and the file became too small and even though the printer said the job was sent it did nothing. It took some time to figure out that was the reason because there was nothing in the documentation that came with it that specified that. Other than that issue it seems to run okay. It could be complicated for the older generation to understand but if they get basic printers this should be good for them.

I was looking for a small photo printer that was portable and this fit the bill. The only problem is that you have to buy the ink and paper that is specifically made for this printer. The paper will cost you about $30 for 100 sheets - about .30 per print. You can not use a non Canon product (or I haven't figured out how to yet). There is a slight delay in printing but so far I am happy with the results - good, not great.

This printer works as advertised. The print quality is good enough for casual home printing or when you want to print off your smartphone. Works well with print function of digital cameras. Direct memory connection is the fastest and smartphone printing the slowest but it beats having to send it to the minilab.

I purchased this number one becuase it was a Connon and I have had nothing but good experiences with Cannon. It's reasonably priced, not too expensive for ink refills and good print quality. I have so many pictures on my iphone and never take the time to send to a print source and don't feel like using my regualar printer. This is a simple plug in and print. You can wirelessly print from your Apple devices and have beautiful photos in a matter of seconds.

I purchased this printer specifically to travel to parties. It links up to your mobile phone. Then have your friends print the great pictures they take and make a memory book each party. Now you both have those great pictures! Perfect for Birthdays and a great gift for the Birthday person!
