This is a great flash accessory for our camera. Love the swivel ability of the flash allowing you to get the "light" right where you need it!

Bought for Canon Rebel T3 to get rid of red eye effect when using the built-in flash. After minimal study of operator's manual, I was able to use it in full auto mode at a 65th wedding anniversary party with great results - no red eyes!

I've Used This Flash Quite A Few Times Since I Purchased It. I'm Very Satisfied With My Investment Into This Flash.

I am a serious amateur photographer, and got this for my T3i to use as a fill-flash (built in flash is pretty much useless unless you are right on top of your subject). It was expensive, but I am looking to take my photography to that next level, and a good flash is definitely needed. I had no idea that I could do so much with this flash. The manual is worth it's weight in gold, read it a few times and you can really put this flash to work for you. It recharges semi-quick, probably not your best bet for shooting burst, though. It's quiet. Flash will definitely illuminate more than just your subject as long as you are within about 40 feet. My only two gripes are that the buttons are not user friendly- I have small hands, and I still have a hard time pushing them in to change settings, and that you can't buy a reusable battery pack for it (although I've been on the same batteries for over a month now- used almost every day) Overall, I'm really glad I added this to my gear kit. The 270 was too small and lacked features, but the 580 was more than I need right now. Enjoy!

We have been looking for an external flash for our camera. This one had good reviews and we are happy as well.

Have enjoyed having the option to use it or not. But I do find myself using it more each time I take photo's.

This is my second 430 EX II flash. I use them for off camera fill light and for shoot through umbrella.

Recharge time is great, two way swivel is as well. Bounce card would be nice but its not a deal breaker.

A great budget flash, less power output than 580ll or 600 but enough for most shoots. Works great as a slave.
