I needed an external lighting unit for my Mark II within my budget and decided to invest in this item. I quickly learned how efficient, fast and easy it is to use. It's a great tool for the indoor event photography I do from time to time (has a very low recycle time so you never miss a moment) and great in low light conditions. I would recommend it to any photographer beginner or advanced.

This is a great flash that you can pull right from the box and begin using right away for fabulous pictures that brighten up beautifully!

I gave this camera attachment a rating of 5 even though it is a tad expensive and has a short battery life. It really makes a world of difference when shooting in rooms that have poor lighting or shooting when the sun is the enemy. Besides, a rating of 4 is too low. Too bad, there is no in between rating.

Although I did not plan on spending this much on a off camera light, I have to say that it was worth the price. The ease of use and the swivel head made it worth it.

Have a t3i - great marriage - can be used off camera as it work really fantastically in the slave mode. If you've never used a speedlite - go to youtube and get some training - Michael Andrews has a good instructional course - It does so much more than just sitting in your hot shoe and replacing your on camera flash. Rechargeable AA batteries a good addition almost a must. Hoped this helped - enjoy it Peace

I purchased this unit for the extra lighten needed while doing some inside photos. It has worked great for me!!. I also had bought some extra rechargeable batteries. To not have to buy batteries all the time. This has worked out great.... I wanted to buy the Speedlite 580 II but it was not worth the cost for me...This has been the best buy for the money...

Two far this has been a great flash, and the price is definitely right. It seems to sit a little loose on my 60D even when locked in place. Not sur if I should force it or maybe have it looked at. Other than that, I couldn't be happier.

This is my first flash purchase for a T2i. The improvement in flash picture quality over the built in flash makes me wish I'd gotten a flash much sooner. I love the swivel and tilt which allows for much more evenly lit scenes. The focus assist via the flash is also infinitely less obtrusive than the built in, allowing for much more candid picture taking.

It does cost a fortune, but this is the best choice. If you have a canon just get this one, it is compatible with my camera and provides great flash. It has a remote control feature and can be moved as you wish.

I am an advanced novice with Dslr cameras, while mine takes excellent shots, with this flash, the quality of shot has improved dramatically. while it is bulky, i leave it on my camera 99% of the time

I bought it to use as my second flash, hooked up to pocket wizards, it works like a charm. Pluse I didn't pay that high price for the next higher unit. I am happy!!!

I just picked this up today along with the 40mm pancake lens. Even though my camera feels a little heavy with this on top it makes a difference in picture quality. I have a canon rebel T3 and adding this to my photography I will be able to have better photos.

A little on the heavy side with the four AA batteries but this flash works great.

this is an extraordinary flash, its reliable, i would have no other. I love it, it sleeps at my feet in my bed.

Bought this for my wife's photography business for her to shoot an anniversary party. It worked great and gives her a wide variety of flash options. Just spend the money on the name brand Canon and avoid the knockoffs. You won't be disappointed.

It totally changed my picture-taking abilities. My pictures inside are so much richer in color than they were before I bought the flash. It's a bit pricey, so I was hesitant. The salesperson was absolutely right that I should have this.
