Perfect family camcorder

I use it to document family gatherings, film the kids playing around and film the kids lacrosse games. It's got a great zoom at the games while I'm in the stands. Video playback on my 75" TV looks fantastic. This is a fantastic bargain and has not left me wishing for more features. Buy it.

Canon Vixia HF R700 HD... Very good so far

While I have not personally used it, he has given it a hearty thumbs up. I have always had good luck with Canon products. 4 stars only because he's still exploring its potential.

It takes really nice video for the price. Seems like a lot of the negative reviews are from people who are expecting high $ performance from an entry price point.

It's ok.

It's fairly easy to use but it is not WiFi enabled, even though the manual says that it is. So I'm returning it. If WiFi capability isn't important to you then this is a great one for beginners.

Best video camera for your money.

Don't be fooled by all the upswell features on the other camera and models. This camera gets the job done and will not disappoint for the price.

great camcorder for the price

There were several others that did more but they also cost more. This one serves my needs well. I use it as a training tool in my automotive classes. I hook it up to the projector and I am able to show the parts on the large screen for a bigger class.
