Great camera. Lightweight. Convenient. Nice video.

Great camcorder from canon. If you are looking for a home camcorder, this one will fit the bill. It does full HD, has a variety of formats, and saves directly to an SD card. One plus that most cameras don't have is the microphone jack so you can plug in a microphone to use instead of the built in microphone.

The Canon VIXIA HF R700 is great to have for capturing anything you like to do, Birthday parties, family outings, weddings, vacations, holidays, etc...Very handy to have and carry around, you can connect to the TV to watch all the videos you captured.

Nice build good memory options. Easy to use and travel with. Need a good small camera i could use for work.

New grandbaby so wanted video camera to capture all those cute events that happen with babies. Like the option to take quick photo. Built in memory would have been nice, but I was in a hurry when purchase happened. WiFi would have been nice also, this model did not have it. At least I do not think so, it is hard to say what the features are and how to use them due to very limited instructions. I guess there is one on-line but when you first try to use it a more complete start up guide would be appreciated.

This little camera served our needs perfectly. The zoom is fantastic, although for a camera in this price range, obviously you lose sharpness when taking full advantage of the zoom. Has a couple of weird quirks, but can' t beat the price for this camera!

OK so I film for YouTube videos. This camera has a mic input. That was huge to me. This camera is awesome. Everything is crystal clear. Audio is great. I love it. I even bought some other lenses and a lense cover for it. I'm going to replace my other cameras with this same model.

I bought this to replace my old camcorder, that uses tapes. Like the fact that this uses a memory card. It is easy to handle. But didn't like that I had to get the instructions online I would rather have them included with the camcorder.

My Grandson, started high school and we needed something to catch and keep memories of his Football Career, that he started at 4 year's old, I was so excited my son and I with his wife found this at an affordable price to be able to capture his game's! Again thank you!

This is a excellent camcorder. I purchased it to complete a video commercial and it worked perfectly. I will say that the still pictures it takes leaves a lot to be desired but I don't think that you can beat the camcorder for the price.

Picked this camera up on a Black Friday deal for $170 and it has performed flawlessly for me. It is pretty much a basic entry level camera and if you need an extra camera as a backup or main camera if you don't do a lot of high quality videos, this one is for you.

Camera is solid and very reliable. The ability to take photos from the video is a great feature. I am a Private Investigator and the features meet all my needs. It has many extra features that I will never use but the ability to customize video and all in HD!

Needed itto record a class project. Pictur quality and sound quality good.

Took my new Canon camcorder out for a spin when I went to Comic-Con. It worked very well when I taped footage from a couple of panels. I hope to use it more often in the future.

Bought this camera cause I'm having a baby. And I'm so happy I did. It has it's own "baby grow up" function. So I'm loving it!!! Don't have any problems with the battery running low too quickly. Just need some accessories.

This is a great product for the price point. There are lots of options. It can be difficult to just figure out all the features off the bat but once you play around with the settings you find more and more capabilities.

I was happy with this camera. I liked the sharp photos, clear videos and wide zoom range. But when I played back the videos you can hear the sound of the camera running in the audio. That was a deal breaker for me.

This was one of my best purchases! Highly recommend this camera!
