    The video camera worked pretty well for the past month or so. I had used it for around 30 or so events. Then yesterday I videoed two events. At the second event I started getting memory card errors. Today I tried to download everything and there was nothing on the card (no events). Quite disappointing. I still haven't gotten it to work again.

    Bought this camera when my old Panasonic died. Looks like most cameras now don't have more than a 32x optical zoom, but the quality is great. It takes a few more seconds than I would like for it to start up, but overall a good starter camera with decent battery life.

    This is my second digital camcorder. I have had vhs camcorders in the past. This one has met my expectations. I have still not used all features on this camera. I like the point and shoot feature of this camera. Good in most light conditions. Low light can get grainy. Sound seems to be ok. May purchase a add-on microphone for better sound. I am pleased with this camera it fit my budget and my needs.
