    I thought that since it was a Canon, the quality would be good. That is true in a "still" camera, but I compared this video camcorder to my Sony 4500 (same price) and the video quality isn't nearly as good. Other features (i.e. touch screen) are better on this Canon, but not the sharpness of the video.

    Camera quality seems good. The video is good, but you can't use it outside on a sunny day because you cant see the view screen. The led screen is not bright enough. Purchased a Sony and it fixed the problem.
