Camera does everything I expected it to do. The charge lasts a long time and there's plenty of onboard memory (more than I was led to believe with the other reviews and documentation). I'm not crazy about the touchscreen function (it works fine, just a personal preference and I didn't find it as intuitive as other cameras) and I've seen better video quality, but it was certainly above-average for the price. As for the audio quality, the built-in mic will never be as good as a handheld mic (or a direct feed) for all the obvious reasons, but I found it to be very good. My first big project was recording a memorial service and the sound quality (from the back of the church) was certainly acceptable. The family also gave me an audio recording made by the sound engineer and they were disappointed that for whatever reason the congregational hymns were almost inaudible on that recording; fortunately, they had come through fine on my video recording. I ended up using the church-provided audio for the spoken-word segments and my video audio for the hymns. The family was very happy with the results; the husband of the deceased was almost in tears when he learned we had an audible version of the hymns!

I spent a lot of time looking for a camcorder that would work well for occasional use at our church for special services, special events, youth activities, etc. This camcorder has all of the features that I wanted including sufficient zoom, resolution (probably beyond what we need), ease of use and good auto focus. So far this camcorder has exceeded my expectations. To be fair, I have only used it for a few weeks so far. I also really like that I can control it with my smart phone. The communication range is better than I expected. Bottom line, so far it has been a great unit.

So far the camcorder does everything I want it to be able to do. I have not had the chance to view any videos on my computer to really see the quality of the videos or photos, but they look good on the screen of the camera. It comes on quick to record those moments when you need it. It is very easy to operate and navigate in the menus. It is very compact and light. The reason I am only giving it 4 stars is because of the wifi or remote features. That seems to be vary laggy, and not easy to setup. You have to use a third party app to link to the camcorder and it seems to just run fairly slow.

This video cam is really nice and provides all the features I need to filming family videos and working on some fun and scenic footage, lighting is good, resolution is nice for this type of camera and zooming capability is way better than other camcorders i have seen in this category. I like the internal storage and MP4 format which allows for quick editing and uploading to the net. Only disadvantage I found was not having a viewer which is a problem sometimes when the side panel is just.not bright enough at times when filming outdoors. Definitely worth the price in its category.

The camera is small and compact. Great picture and a lot of great features. I have used it to video my daughters dance rehearsal and a track meet and it worked great for both. I like that it's small enough and I can throw it in my purse. I also like the internal memory, great back up for when the memory card is getting full.

I was looking for an easy to use, good quality camcorder and after reading many reviews, decided to purchase this one. It is affordable and produces good quality video. Simple to operate and has decent low light recording. Light weight also.

My JVC EVERIO went out so I wanted a camera to replace it. The JVC has been a great little camera even though it was very cheap. Great picture for the price. I had a little more to spend this time around so I found this camera on clearance for a great price. It originally was over $400! I wanted a canon cause I often get to use a Canon g20 and like the way it works. Of course this camera does not have the picture quality of a g20 but the programing is the same so I didn't have to completely relearn useing it. This camera can be grainy in low light and working with the settings are a little tricky to get it right but when you get it right, it has a really nice picture! I would not recommend this camera to someone who basacly wants a "point and shoot" camcorder, lol, too many settings. But for someone with more advance knowlage of cameras, I would.

I love this camcorder! I use it primarily for recording my daughters' basketball games. The film footage is used to game review with coaches and for end-of-season highlight videos shown at the awards banquet. The video is clear, crisp, and high quality. For the money it was a great investment.

I upgraded from a tape Canon Elura to this camera and could not be happier. The Elura was a great camera for video but horrible with sound account the mic picked up the tape motor sound which ruined any video unless there was other sound to cancel it out. I am still learning the many, many things that this camera can do but the video and sound is outstanding for this class of camera. Again, this video camera has LOTS of things that you can do with it and too many to mention here. I gave it 4 stars account of the manual or lack thereof that comes with the camera and fully realize that this is the norm anymore for about everything. The manual you can download is 312 pages which is pretty daunting but necessary when you have so many features available on this camera and explanations on how to take advantage of them all. I absolutely recommend this video camera.

So far so good. The camcorder is extremely small and light, and it is easy to use. So far the video quality looks good, and the image stabilizer seems to work well.

This camera is a nice, compact size and takes decent video. If you are not expecting professional quality, you will like the output you get for the price point. My only concern was I needed extra long battery life. I had to order special rechargeable batteries, but I needed to get about 10 hours a day worth of video. I'm sure this is not a usual situation, so I think for "normal" use, you will be pleased.

I expected this camera to be easy to use, and it is. Just open the lens and push record. Used it on a tripod to record relatives in conversation and it worked great. The results were excellent. Taking the files off the card is easy. They can be edited easily using your favorite editor. Unlike an experience I had with a camera with proprietary files. So I was looking for ease of access to the video files. This was a great buy. I am very happy with my choice.

We really like this camcorder. Small, easy to use. Power lasts for a long time. Highly recommend it!

This is a great little digital video camera for the person learning to do video. Just like the DSLR cousins you have the same with digital video.. This camera is small to fit in your hand but once adjusted it has a good and comfortable fit. Video quality is very good and the controls are easy to use. For the occasional video need this is the camera to use.

So far don't have anything negative to say about this camcorder. It does what it is supposed to do very well. Great picture, great zoom, and I love that I no longer need to buy tapes or disks for this. I am very happy with this purchase.

I researched this video camera before my purchase and I am very pleased with the quality and with how easy it is to operate. The sound quality is satisfactory and the actual video is very good. Can't wait to try the night vision capabilities. Great value for the price and the product.
