This camcorder even has adjustments for the audio record level! Very impressive for a small camcorder. All of the functions that I want to adjust are available, even headphone audio level. This is an ugrade from an earlier Canon Vixia camcorder.

I bought this Camera for my mom and she loves it. My mom is not into tech so finding something that she could actually use was great. Also with is camera you can take pictures with click of button.

Camera is good. I like the external mic input, however the one thing I noticed is that you can not turn off the AGC, at least I can't find that setting. With it on, it boosts noise when there is audio silence.

Video camera Only good when there’s a lot lighting

Great camera! Best electronic I've ever purchased from Best Buy. Crystal clear recorded video. Speak loudly when filming outside though. I bought it for filming my YouTube videos. Other than taking a long time to charge it's wonderful! Light weight and small. Love it.

It is a good product for the price. But the zoom button/lever makes a noise when I release it after zooming in one of the two possible directions. Not a problem, problem when recording a sporting event. But not good when recording a concert.

Camera is good for a beginner. The battery is good but could be better. After about 30-45 minutes of continuous recording, the battery is half way dead. There is no light, flash, or setting to get a good recording in the dark.

I wasn't expecting much frills. Resolution is decent, but the viewing screen is smaller than I expected. Slightly longer boot time than I wanted, and the splash screen blocks when I want to record quickly. Great image stabilization!

I wanted it to do a church live stream, and it works flawlessly, just to point the HDMI out is only 1080i 59.94, and there is no way to change it. But is just a requirement for me, not a problem at all

After doing a large amount of research and reading countless reviews, I determined that this was the best camcorder for my needs. The R800 is the cheapest of the 3 in the product line, but all it is lacking is the wi-fi features and on board storage.

Had hope for this little camera but the picture quality isn't great. Especially in the tiniest of low light, you will see refraction and noise in the picture. So you have to be out in the brightest sun light to get a decent picture. The zoom in it is impressive and the controls are pretty easy. I would have brought it back to best buy but because of recent events they closed and passed my 14 day window.

No issues with the camera. It was easy to figure out and operate. The only issue I had was that the zoom was not powerful enough. I would have liked it to be able to zoom in more than it did.

I am using this as a inexpensive alternative for a church video setup. The hdmi output is active while recording. We have it connected to two tv screens in another room. For $300 camera works good for the time being.

I was indifferent, DSLR or Camcorder. I shoot video more and the stabilization feature with 60fps record rate made me lean this way. That and I saved a lot of money not diving into the DSLR world. Not yet anyway :)

This camera is great for recording memories.. ill be using it to record memories of my firstborn. The camera records best under sunlight... I recommend it for personal use.

I always wanted to have a good camera, picking this camera was my best choice ever, i give it 5 star's i already enjoying my videos since i got back from south america vacation...

love what the camera can do but need the eyepiece~wondering if i can trade up and get the vixia w the eyepinece~one can see better regardi

Good HD camcorder for the price. The optical zoom alone make the camera a great buy. The sharpness was better than Sony at full zoom.

only think i find difficult to use is the screen ,i only have the camera sense June so far so good no problem with anything in particular ,this my first camcorder

Excellent camera. Very clear focus in light and dark environments. I use it to record music and the audio is crisp and better than some professional equipment. Well worth the money!
