Customers are impressed with the Wireless Remote's ease of use, affordability, and its ability to capture group photos without excluding anyone. While some users experienced compatibility issues and limited range, others found the line-of-sight requirement to be a minor inconvenience.

Bought a cheap one on Amazon, but it couldn't shoot instantly. A friend told me to try the OE one and it works great, does instant or 2 second delay. The price is hard to take, but ad match from Amazon and you can save a few bucks.
I definitely recommend this tool especially if you take selfies, really great for night shots with a tripod.

This is an ir remote, keep that in mind. On my Canon Rebel T3i it had to be in front of the camera to work.

The remote worked a fairly good distance in the bright, snowy conditions I was using it in. The remote only worked in Photo mode. I also didn't have to point to it directly, but as long as I was in front of the camera, it worked with a long press. I kinda wish it had more features though.

Just got back from my trip to the philippines to visit my family, I used this remote a lot. I never have set the camera timer and run and join the group picture. Very easy to use. Just don't forget that its not an RF remote. You should beat the lineof sight for the remote to work with camera.

I was looking for a wired remote at the time but I could not find one in stock. I decided to take a chance on the wireless remote and it turned out to be a great choice. I use the remote for astrophotography and it has made a huge difference. I have been using the remote for several weeks now and it has done the job well.

I had hopes this would trigger the video on and off, and I didn't read up on it before buying it, but for what it does do it does it well. My only complaint is that it's not paired, so anyone near in remote mode can be triggered in error. It's not happened to me, but the idea is bothersome.

My boyfriend bought me this for my Canon t5i and I love it. It's useful and convenient to have when your trying to photograph babies. It comes with a little pouch that you can attach to the camera strap for easier access. It has a little switch on the back of it, one for a 2 second delay and the other for an instant pic. It says that it does not come with a battery but mine did which I thought was odd but I still bought extra just in case. It requires C2032 battery, Best Buy does sell them. I do wish the range was further than 10ft but I would still recommend the product.
For those who don't know how to set it up, its very simple. Just go onto your DSLR setting, the option where it give you to either select to take a single photo, multi-photos, self-timer, etc your going to select the one that has a little remote with what it looks like a Wi-Fi symbol.
Once that's all done, just point it on the side of the camera sensory and you're good to go.

I bought this without doing my research. Long story short, it doesn’t work for my camera model specifically. That is no one’s fault but my own for not realizing that. I’m sure the product works fine otherwise.

The remote must be pointed at the camera in order to operate. It cannot be in pocket for the sensor to work. This is unfortunate if one wants to hide remote in shot. My camera has Bluetooth + wireless, but wanted a physical wireless remote.

It was nice that it came with a case and the case mount. On the neck strap I like that it can that a picture right a way or you can switch for it to take a picture two second later

The remote came in handy during my trip to the Great Smokies over the Christmas holidays. It automatically paired up with my Canon 70D right out of the pack. I was able to create some great memories with my Wifey of our trip.

I am getting started in astrophotography and needed a remote for my camera. It works fine. I have not had any issues as of yet. It was priced in the store than online. They gave me the lower price.

This works great with my t5i. Connects well and has good range. The trick to having the battery not die on you is keep pressure off the button while its in your bag.

It works fine but it has to be pointed straight at the camera. It's hard to disguise it in your hand if you have to point it right at the camera while taking pic.
