    I like this device because it allows me to take photos remotely. For this device to work with your Canon camera has to have IR capability.

    I returned this item because it didn't work with the Canon EOS Rebel T3. I assumed that the packaging wasn't up to date, but was wrong.

    ...but unfortunately the bestbuy service member was incorrect. I've had one of these remotes long ago for another model: Canon Rebel T2i, and it worked great. This item does not work for the Canon Rebel T6. I should of done research on this on my own instead of trusting what I was told in store by bestbuy.
