Not for Long range
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this Remote as I use lot of Tripod Shots. The Remote works great where the stable hands are required but not for a long range, if you want to take the photo from a long range so max it works within 6-7 feet but not more than that. So In case of using Zoom lens then this remote might not be handy. Not sure if there is any Long range Remote available but this has it's own limitation.

Works perfectly with my T3i
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great little remote, fits inside palm of hand. Works just like the shutter button on the camera.

A good accessory to have!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could have gotten this at a cheaper price somewhere else, but Best Buy had it locally in stock and I needed it quick. It does what the advertising says it will do. I bought it so i could shoot night time pics of fireworks going off of Pikes Peak at midnight without jostling the camera. Unfortunately, this was the first year in decades the weather was too bad to shoot them off, so I was in a rush for nothing! But I'm glad I have this useful accessory.

Works really well
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This remote works really well. It is small and easy to carry in your pocket, or hide in your hand so it isn't seen in the photo. It is a little touchy with where you have to point it at the camera. If it's not in the exact spot it won't work. I thought the price was a little on the high side, but I suppose when you've already spent over $1,000 on the camera and lenses, what's another $40, right? I have a Canon Eos Rebel T2i.

It's a remote that works perfectly
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a way to step away from the camera while doing group portraits. This remote makes that possible without a lot of equipment or cables. It is simple and it does exactly what it is intended to do for a rather cheap price.

Cool little gadget
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item was bought for use with my Canon EOS T2i/550d. It was a bit pricey @ $41.99, but it was available locally. The Wireless Remote works perfectly and gives me an opportunity to do long astronomical exposures using the camera's "bulb" setting without the need for wires or a laptop to control the camera. Click once to start the exposure, click again to stop. When using the camera's built-in exposure times, single click operation was wonderful. Using this cool little gadget keeps me from jostling my telescope and causing blurry images. The remote gives me complete, hands-free operation. As long as you have "line of sight" to the front of your camera, it works great. From off angles or behind, it did not work. The remote also worked great with my son's T3i/600d.

Works great with the Canon 5D
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it works great, only downside is that you really have to point it at the camera's sensor which at times presents issues if you are standing to the right of the sensor as the lens blocks the sensor from that side.

Super gadget!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GREATS: Great gadget to have when photographing small children and large groups. Also great when you are in the picture as you can take multiple shots without having to go and reset the timer. One drawback: You do have to point the remote directly at the front of the camera- so you cannot be standing beside the camera when using the remote like you can with the "corded" versions.

Very usefull tool for Canon DSLR camera owners
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My remote came with a battery that the listing said I would not get. As such I was able to fire it up and start using it, a few seconds after opening the shipping package. All of the features that the instruction leaflet said I could do, I was able to do, and they worked perfectly.

Wish I would have purchased sooner!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent tool, especially if you lack steady hands. I should have purchased this remote the same day I brought home my camera. Easy set up, comes with a convenient case that you can attach to your camera strap.

Amazing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love how this remote works so easily with the camera. The only thing is that you have to have it pointed at the camera, not hidden away. otherwise its great

Not Compatible With 6D Mark II
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm sad that this remote wasn't compatible with my 6D Mark II, but it's a nice little thing. New camera owner here so I had thought a remote was just a remote since the description says that this remote is for Canon DSLRs. Seems sturdy, although you can probably opt for a less expensive one off Amazon.

Good product but has some limitations for my needs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product, but it would be better if it worked behind the camera. Because you need to point it at the sensor, it's more effective for self portraits. When shooting landscapes or bracketed shots it takes a while to activate the remote.
