The Disney/Marvel company has spent all this time collecting stars and building an empire out of them. The Avengers movies (so far) have been the ones to watch where everybody comes together. So having this as a Captain America movie doesn't feel right for the title, but feels oh so good to watch. This was a bit more of a political thinker at times, but was a great movie that set up a ton of plot points for future installments. I highly recommend it.

For fans who have been following the Marvel Cinematic Universe or even just the Captain America films, Captain America: Civil War is the movie that adds a new twist to the mostly linear superhero plots that the previous films have brought us. Throughout the series, we always felt the most tension when the heroes were fighting amongst themselves as opposed to any villain and this film magnifies and amplifies that beautifully. Simply put: this is a must-watch.

After many innocent bystanders die and billions of dollars in damages have been caused during The Avengers fighting evil, the government decides anyone with super abilities needs to register. Those who don't will be criminals. Iron Man leads the group of heroes who decide to register and Captain America leads the group of fugitive heroes while villain Baron Zemo tries his best to divide the Avengers. An epic battle between the two groups of superheroes erupts.

"Civil War" is one of the best Marvel fims made. I don't think the Studio thought that "Captain America" would be such a hit and that "Winter Soldier" would be one of the best reviewed films. If you haven't been following the MCU since 2008 when "Iron Man" was released, watched all the films from "The Incredible Hulk" to "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Ant-Man", you may get REALLY confused and lost. There are a lot of characters to keep track of, each one with a complex back story, complete with in-jokes and references to not only every film made so far but to those that will soon be hitting movie screens starting with next months "Dr. Strange" and continuing with "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol: 2", "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Thor: Ragnarok" in 2017. It can get bogged down but the best advice I can give is to just kick back and enjoy the ride.

I own the entire steelbook collection, and now i have all of the 4k version of the series. This one is my favorite. The atmos sound is demo worthy for checking your system and the movie itself is great movie in the collection. If you dont own it, i highly recommend it's purchase. You will enjoy this movie from beginning to end.

First off, I love the exclusive Steelbook case for this movie from Best Buy. It looks awesome! In my opinion, this is the best entry in the MCU to date. Out of all the Phase 1 movies, Captain America was one of my least favorites. In the first Avengers movie, Cap again was one of my least favorites. But then came Phase 2 and The Winter Soldier and Cap became my favorite character. This movie tops the Winter Soldier in terms of story, action, visuals, and acting.

I wished it could have a different artwork but it’s ok.

A noticeable improvement in picture quality over the bluray. Picture is a bit sharper, but the improvement in color stands out the most. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack ands some nice sound effects to the height channels that are most noticeable during the battle sequences. Recommended if you have a TV with good HDR or a Atmos capable sound system.

This film is far from what I expected when I went to see the Captain America movie. It was much more like an Avengers movie with an all star cast of who's who in the Marvel universe. The 3D in this movie is top notch and could only be surpassed right now maybe by Guardians of the Galaxy or Dr. Strange, which both came after this. I would highly recommend this movie if you even remotely like Marvel movies at all.. This is what we have been waiting for.

Civil War is another great movie in a line of solid action titles from the folks at Marvel. There's plenty of action, lots of character development despite the growing cast of characters, and a good amount of humor despite the overall tone of the film. I've personally seen every MCU film and regularly will marathon each Phase to prep for the latest movie release, but this movie will be entertaining for those who simply want to see a good popcorn flick too.

I won't review the movie, simply because you either like MCU movies or you do not. (Beyond that, there's no reason to get into canon discussions during a review anyways.) The steelbook version is solid, though it would have been nice to have better leaflets inside. (The code for the digital version was on a round leaflet designed to look like Cap's Shield and I almost lost the leaflet.) The blu-ray and DVD versions are well done with the usual features.

Captain America movies are the cream of the crop over at Marvel. Civl War is no exception. The stakes have been raised. Despite it being a Captain America movie, it really did feel like the Avengers movie we didn't get with Age of Ultron. This movie builds on what happened in Age of Ultron and the fallout of these characters as everyone has their own feelings about everything that's transpired. It's such a fun ride and a make up for the last Avengers movie.

Any fan of Captain America comics will tell you, no matter what happens and who enters the world, the Captain will always fight on principle. He is the quintessential good guy. And here the division begins but he does not waiver. Chris Evans has been the best super hero that remains likable since Christopher Reeve as Superman. Don't worry movie fans, in the comic books they reunited as one team. Until then, this film has to be one of the best.

Another hit from the folks at Marvel Studios - this one introduces the controversial "Civil War" storyline, with a different slant than what was used in the comics. I suppose they did it this way to make it "easier" to heal the rift between the heroes for the upcoming Infinity Stones episodes with Thanos. And finally, Spider Man is reintroduced into the main stream Marvel universe after Marvel Studios got control of the title back from Sony Pictures.

4k transfer is better than the first avenger. Great!

This movie was a great movie in the Avengers series.

Great Marvel action film, In the comics, Captain America has always tried to live up to his principles no matter what the cost, this movie clearly demonstrates this when he battles Iron man (who also believes he is in the right) over his freedoms and to protect his friend, the winter soldier, even after Ironman finds out he killed his parents. There is a lot to take in as this film sets up the next series of Marvel films as well. So sit back and enjoy!

Captain America has solidified itself as the best thing to come out of Marvel Studios. I am not the biggest fan of Marvel Studios, but the Captain America trilogy (especially The Winter Soldier and Civil War) transcend the organization. Like other Marvel Studios productions (not to mention most every superhero movie made) Civil War is formulaic at times, but its innovative, creative, and grandiose vision outshine any cliches presented in the film.

Clearly, we hate to see Captain America and Iron Man actually come to blows but on the other hand, it makes for great cinema. C.A. Civil War delivers on every level. Brilliant introductions of beloved characters "new" to the MCU, spectacular "two-page" fight scenes, smart dialog, continued character development and the rending of a great divide between the two most popular heroes. One of the best Marvel Studio films to date. Buy it and watch it now.
