Over the past few years we have had a plethora of Marvel superhero movies and if you have seen any of them, this one won't surprise you. But, to be honest, it feels more like an Avenger film than a Captain America one. One of my biggest issues I have with Civil War is how they portray Spider-man. Or, to be more specific, how they portray his aunt. I've read all of the classic Spider-man comics and her age is a pivotal point in the comics. I really hate super hero movies that pick and choose big plot points just be "different." Anyway, besides that all the other characters are pretty likable. But It's pretty polarizing and you will find yourself rooting for either Captain America or Iron Man. I personally agreed with Iron Man but I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority. And, of course, it's left wide open for a sequel.

Civil War (aka Avengers 2.5) is one of the best comic story adaptions of 2016 (Deadpool being the other one). As a fan of both Marvel and DC comics, I have to admit that Marvel is winning in terms of the movie franchise. The action and acting of this movie is perfectly balanced and the actors truly embody their characters with gusto. This movie also has a tightly written storyline, which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this film to comic fans.

The latest in the Captain America saga was exhilarating to see on the big screen: the action sequences, the colors, the sound....and the Blu-ray disc captured all of it for the home screen! The colors were well-saturated and the sound quality was excellent. This is a great disc to use if you need to showcase your home theater setup to your friends. The fight scene at the airport really comes alive. All in all, a great disc to have in your library!

While I'm not a "fan" of my favorite Avengers taking sides against one another, it was an inevitable fact (according to my comic book loving spouse). I loved the movie and the Spider"man" was hilarious in his age-appropriate reinvention. (No spoilers, but you've got to go see Doctor Strange in the continuing expansion on the big screen of the Marvel Universe. As you can tell from my user name, I'm a fan of Cumberbatch and he did not disappoint.)

Captain America is Back, and for me this one is the Best in the series with part one probably being the Best or and but a tie with this one. But I love the action and the main fight / main event everyone is waiting for Captain America vs Iron Man is here as well, was Awesome. Also very funny parts are in movie as well, and I just Love how they did the ending, A Sequal Awaits huh, maybe?, I dont know, watch decide and find out for yourself, Peace.

Great sequel but should have been a avengers movie

I don’t know about you, but I love the MCU universe. Especially this film. Civil War is one of the best Marvel movies ever made. The tension between the teams of Captain America vs Iron Man is great. You can’t beat the good guys going at each other and this film depicts that to its full extent. I highly recommend anyone who even has an inkling of watching a Marvel movie to watch this. You got to check it out.

Controversy over the registering of powered people is nothing new (see the first X-Men movie, or even the Incredibles), so the premise is nothing original. Nice little twist, however, as our heroes disagree with one other over the registration issue, and go to war with each other. I'd prefer to see our heroes united against a common foe, but as they say nowadays, it is what it is. And what it is, is a fast paced, well acted movie with great special effects that are not overdone. While I dreaded the inclusion of Spiderman (great character, but out of place in this movie, and a shameless promo for yet another Spidey reboot) the interaction between Peter Parker and Tony Stark was spot-on perfect, and great fun to watch. One star subtracted for a contrived premise. Other than that, must-see movie for superhero fans.

Great action and comedy really a fun movie for all

Marvel movies have beven in my opinion about half and half. Generally I enjoy all Marvel movies, but if I had to be critical about half are actually really good movies. The exception is Captain America. Surprisingly all 3 Captain America films have just been amazing and entertaining. Not only as comic book movies but as just movies in general. Civil War in my opinion lived up to the hype and was much better than I had hoped. Worth every penny

Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow and Hawkeye must pick a side.

I already had this movie on dvd but it did not come with the digital copy so I purchased it again for the digital copy. Lots of action, great story line and great stunts that keep you on the edge of your seat. I really love how Marvel ties all of their movies together and at the end give you a peek at what’s to come. This movie does not disappoint.

This movie was very exceptional, amazing and entertaining with great replay value but then again it was made by Marvel so that's not a surprise. That's a fact that this would turn up gold. Great turn in the Avenger's story line and awesome battles between friends and how this movie took a darker turn that was unexpected. Also great set-up for a couple of new characters and new movies so definitely get this to add to your collection.

I always like to watch every movie twice before I give my judgement, unless the movie is terrible. I watched this 3 times and this is without a doubt top 3 superhero movies of all time, my top 3 in no particular order being this the avenger and winter soldier. I think marvel, for the most part has got their hero movies down especially with doctor strange being so good. It's time for DC to step it up because BvS was a huge let down.

The Captain America movies just keep getting better and better, especially when it feels like Avengers 2.5. The only negative is that any time there is a special edition I have to pre-order it in order to have one. That sounds like a dumb complaint, but it's not due to other customers buying them first. It's due to employees hiding them for themselves or never putting them out in the first place. Also happened with Dr. Strange.

I was not a fan of the first Captain America film. The Winter Soldier was much better, and this one is the best by far. I was too late to get the Steelbook which was a major disappointment. Marvel is really doing a good job with the storyline and the drama within the Avengers is really compelling. Where DC is falling apart, Marvel is setting the bar higher and higher. This, along with the other associated films is really worthwhile.

I saw this in Imax 3D in theaters and bought the 3D version for home as well. Fantastic script, great acting and costumes and locations. Exciting action never stops until the very end of the movie, leaving you wanting more. When is the next CA movie due out? Soon, I hope, although Black Panther and Avengers 3 will be good, CA 4 may continue to set the trend for other Marvel movies. Buy it. You will watch it more than one time.

I don't say this about many movies, but I truly enjoyed this one. Lots of human interaction with just a few holes in the story line. (Spoiler alert!) Like what was Papa and Mama Stark doing driving with super serum in the trunk? They were really gonna drop that off at the Pentagon on their way to a vacation?? Anyway, I found myself glued to the screen. I bought 12 movies and watched them all over 2 weekends. This was my favorite.

Cap vs Iron Man!! This is by far THE BEST Marvel movie to date! As much as DC is trying to build their universe, it took 11-12 movies to build up to this particular movie - and it was worth it! Having established practically all of the power players of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) before this film allows the emotional connection to the characters extra weight. Don't miss this one...or the other 12 that make this one possible.
