Marvel did an excellent job on this one; although they didn't follow the original storyline to the letter they are to be commended for seamlessly integrating different storylines (Civil War I, Captain America/Winter Soldier) while 'introducing' new characters i.e. Black Panther and Helmut Zeno to the Marvel Universe. Plenty of action and humor courtesy of Scott Lang aka Ant Man/Giant Man. Adults and kids alike will enjoy it too.

Captain America Civil War was something that could have been a super hero movie genre defying flick and it was close, but fell so short that it came up second place and fell far behind the far superior BvS DoJ film from the same year. The story was a mix-matched edition of the source material and missed out so much of what was key to the plot that it detracted from the whole purpose behind the poignancy of the story itself. This was nothing more than Avengers AOU 1.5 and it served the purpose of helping us to forget that horrible Joss Whedon movie and introduce Spiderman and Black Panther to the MCU. The 3D does pop and aids in helping to forget the many faults with what otherwise could have been an amazing film...

This has to be by far one of the best films in the MCU line up. While it did not follow the Civil War story arc to the letter it was a masterpiece of a story. Marvel yet again showed why they are the king of comic book movies. DC has a long way to go if they are ever going to even come remotely close to Marvel in terms of a movie universe. The Russo brothers did a great job introducing Spider-Man and Black Panther as well.

I read that this was intended to be the third Avengers movie but not all original cast members were available so they made Cap the central figure. Doesn't matter. It's an exciting entry into the Marvel canon pulling the story arc further ahead than expected. Every gets a piece of everyone else in a restrained all out fight not quite to the finish.

Saw the movie in iMax on opening night, standard theatre, and now on a home tv and my opinion on it hasn't changed. Excellent movie, it's marvel taken to a new level. If you're a fan of marvel more specifically avengers than you will love this installment. It combines a true super hero movie with a political thriller and we are introduced to new heroes. One of the stronger story lines I've come about from a super hero movie.

This review can be summed up rather quickly. If you like the Avengers movies, and liked Winter Soldier, there's a good chance you will enjoy this installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There's pretty much something for everyone-- except for those looking for Hulk and Thor. Those people will be disappointed, I guess. But hey-- they make up for it with the introduction of a new MCU-approved Spider-Man. So there's that!

After several years of Marvel movies, it's easy to assume the formula has gotten stale. Good guys with incredible powers and a few character flaws save the day. Sure, we've seen the act where all the Avengers turn against eachother in some way in the first film. But the fault lines seem much deeper here, and the character's choices are seemingly less predictable. Overall, another thrilling Marvel movie. Go watch it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, but have a minor qualm with it being under the guise of a Captain America movie. It is an ensemble cast, with just as much focus on Tony Stark/Iron Man as it was Captain America. The only real emphasis that allows this to be under the Captain America moniker is the focus on Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier. All the rest follows suit and continues, with included repercussions, of the events in Age of Ultron. Still, as I said I thoroughly enjoyed the film. The action sequences and the overall feel was just a lot of fun and I enjoyed the inclusion of the additional characters, like Black Panther and Spider-Man. While I still think CA: The Winter Soldier was a better film overall, this one is still quite good and definitely worth watching.

I think that "Captain America: Civil War" is once again one of the many greatest Marvel Comics-based films of all time and these films are also my favorite films of all-time. I really enjoyed all of the action, suspense, mystery and drama that kept this film very entertaining and enjoyable. I also think that "Captain America: Civil War" had a really great and amazing cast, plot and personal/political storylines as well.

This is the Marvel movie that we have been waiting for! Great story, acting and action sequences puts this movie near the top of the Marvel cinematic universe. The airport sequence alone is worth the price of this movie. I am now torn between Winter Soldier and this movie as my favorite Marvel movie. In any case this movie is great from beginning to end. If you are an action/comic fan do not hesitate to buy this movie!

One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Civil War hit all of its marks. Even with a huge cast, and a complicated story, the directors manage to find time for character development, and mix a potent combination of drama, humor, action, and contemporary issues. Chadwick Boseman, Paul Rudd, and Tom Holland have great moments without upstaging the "veteran" Avengers. Still entertaining after multiple viewings!

I saw the film in the theatre and my mind was blown away. The fact they were doing a unique spin on the Civil War storyline in the comics was a nice touch. The twist at the end involving Winter Soldier and why the other guy wanted revenge on the Avengers was brilliant. The appearance from the new Spider-Man was nice and looking forward to his movie coming out this summer. Definitely one of the best films of 2016

This is an epic Battle Royal of Avenger vs. Avenger. Continuing the storyline off of Winter Soldier and Ultron comes a time of reconning when each member must pick a side to fight for. Great character development and buildup towards the final clash sequence although it can be a bit slow paced and long running on film length. But that doesn't matter by the time it hits the fan, and hey, it's got Spidey! 'Nuff said!

I am really loving what Marvel is doing with these films and the new Cap was no exception! Tons of action, great fight choreography and enjoyable characters made this one a winner for the whole family. Also, I love the new actor who is playing Spiderman....took over a decade, but they finally got the character right! His quips were in line with what I would expect from Spidey and unlike the previous two actors who held the role, this actor seems to be a perfect fit as both Spidey and Peter Parker. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in his own film when it's released. Another great ride through the Marvel universe and perhaps Stan Lee's most amusing cameo so far. Outstanding video presentation made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The steelbook itself is wonderful and pitting Cap vs Iron Man down the middle intensifies the look. As for the movie itself, it's awesome of course. Great action, introduces two of my favorite characters with Black Panther and Spider-Man. It does have a good plot line and one of the best non-Netflix MCU villains with Zemo. If you are a fan, get it! If you like action, get it! Just get it honestly, it's fantastic!

Much better because this involves super heroes who have powers that you will never have (I have some so I can't relate to you) but for the ones who will never enjoy flying, or being able to turn green and other things this will do. Did I mention that the fact that it is in 4k makes it so you kind of feel like you are there?

Sorry Iron Man, Captain America is the new favorite super-hero. I'm a big fan of the super-hero genre and this movie brings together several favorites including the very well-done Iron Man portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. The movie is non-stop action with a pretty well done plot-line and seems to follow the original writer's design for each character, unlike what has happened to Batman and Superman.

This is what a comic book movie should be. Dramatic and funny. Full of great action and effects. While titled Captain America, it truly is a new Avengers movie and all the heroes get ample screen time to advance their story. Marvel does the superhero genre like no other. I personally cannot think of any other action sequence done as well as the airport scene in another superhero movie before or since.

This is my second favorite Captain American movie, and possibly my 4th favorite overall Marvel movie (counting up to Avengers: Endgame). I had been looking at this Blu-ray and was excited to find the 4K version a bit cheaper (at the time of purchase). Great value and a great movie!

In this third installment of the Captain America trilogy, Steve Rogers is back with a vengeance. Looking for his childhood buddy, Bucky Barnes a.k.a. the winter soldier this movie takes off right away and doesn't stop at all. Throw in Iron Man and the rest of the avengers you got yourself and all star superhero showdown.
