Great movie for the collections series Just keep them coming

This is the Marvel Cinematic Universe brought to its pinnacle (at least thus far). Action, Drama, Twists, Turns, heroes new and old clashing in epic battle. Most will fight, some will fall, suspense!! But seriously, this movie is great if you like the super hero scene, it's jam packed with awesome action scenes and fun character banter and it really sets up the Marvel Cinematic Universe for 2018's Avengers 3, which is definitely going to blow everyone's mind. You'll like it.

With this new movie, Captain America has officially become my all time favorite movie trilogy, and the only trilogy where each subsequent movie was better than the last. I never thought they would top Winter Soldier, but this exceeds it. The best part for me was the surprise of Spiderman. What I expected to be a brief minute or two cameo turned into twenty minutes of the best action scene I've ever seen in a Superhero movie. This is without a doubt my favorite film of the year!

solid movie, nice steelbook, cant beat the value here

Marvel movies are superior to DC movies in that they're brightly lit for one thing versus DC movies which are always so dark, both in character and presentation. The story lines and character development far exceed anything which DC produces. Captain America Civil War is so rightly done and the next phase of the Cap series. There are some character additions and surprises that makes the movie such a joy. Well worth the wait on Blu-Ray and I've watched this over and over again.

This has to be one of my top favorite Marvel movies that have been released. If you are a fan of Disney/Marvel and The Avengers storyline and characters, this is a must-have. And if you are a collector of exclusive steelbook DVDs, then this is a highly recommended choice. The cover art is perfect, my favorite cover/poster art for the movie, and comes with multiple ways to enjoy the movie.

Third best Captain America movie. Seventh best MCU movie.

The first half of the movie has a great momentum, with a mountain of a dilemma for our characters to overcome. This fallout is worse than the other 3 or 4 times our beloved Marvel heroes haven't gotten along. Although thankfully there are underdeveloped secondary villains to prevent any true resolution to be determined. However the set pieces are a freaking and welcoming diversion from this. Some of the most interesting action scenes and character moments thus far. While Marvel has played it safely with their story structure, they have mastered tackling large scale action. That and what's next in their canon keeps bringing us back time and again. Despite these criticisms, the movie is a good time. And it displays a strong grasp of the characters as well as finally bringing them closer to the ideology that the comics have allowed to gestate for decades.

When I saw this film in the theater, I was a little disconcerted, but that's because I feel that way when I see Good Guys fighting each other rather than uniting to fight the Bad Guys. OK, so in that regard, I suppose I'm a bit simplistic. Otherwise, the film had the same quality as the previous Marvel Universe films did. And (from what I understand; I never have read the comics myself) this does track a major story line in the comics. As far as the BluRay itself, video/audio quality are what you'd expect from BD. The bonus features include about 45 minutes of "Making of ..." material (in two parts) plus the usual Deleted/Extended scenes. There are also two short (about 4 mins each) additional features which give the two perspectives on the conflict: Captain America's and Iron Man's. I haven't watched these yet so can't comment on them further at this time.

Although it was a controversial storyline in the comics, I enjoyed the conflict, both in the comic and in the movie. The movie, especially, did a great job of exploring the character motivations for the stance they took. I think the Captain America movies in particular, do a fantastic job of advancing all the stories in the MCU. This movie was no exception and while Cap and Stark are going head to head, you also get some mentions of what's going on with other characters.

Another movie added to my Marvel movies collection.

A well done film that is complemented by a nice steelbook!

The Marvel film universe has done it again with the latest entry in the Captain America film series. After past events and current events take their toll and begin to bring a unwanted spotlight on the fallout of destruction being caused by heroes a new registration act mounts tension between them. This steelbook release is a great product that actually comes with the standard bluray and the 3D bluray something that is always appreciated. A must own for marvel fans period.

I'm not biased when it comes to Marvel/DC but somehow Marvel is killing it the movie industry. Us fans who's been watching it from the first Iron Man movie up to now, Marvel knows their stuff & delivers. This movie was awesome & despite having similar plot like BvS, this movie was better in every single way possible, not to mention it even had Spider-Man for the first time in Marvel cinematic universe, who stole every scene he was in. A must watch for superhero fans!

Lets call this what it really is and that is Avengers 2.5. This was no surprise going in for me and made it that much better. The Marvel movies are definitely a go big or go home. And this was no different. It is hard to review some of these movies on their own because they really do just play out as one big continued story. And that is all this is. One story that lead from another and builds towards the big Infinity War story. This was a good stop in that train ride.

What a movie! The follow up to The Winter Soldier is just what fans and casual watchers needed. My wife (casual watcher) enjoyed it. I know this not from asking, but because she was quiet during the entire film. No questions. No laughing at poorly acted scenes (there aren't any). No "why in the heck did they do that?" She actually said "Woooooow! Nice! I liked that" when it was over. She said the same about The Winter Soldier. I, on the other hand, was already there.

The picture on the 4K disc is very good. Deeper colors.
