Great movie! 1st appearance of spider man in the Marvel cinematic universe! What's not to love?

I love the steelbooks of Marvel movies. I bought the set of all Capt America movies in 4K BluRay.

Great case. The disks are held firmly and not too difficult to remove. Movie a joy to watch.

Play this movie in 4K UHD on the 4K TV and wowwwww. I enjoy every minutes of this movie again..!!

4K transfer looks great. Great story and movie can’t wait for the rest of the MCU to come to 4K.

All super heroes are here and their fights and acts are soooo great. And 4k version is splendid.

While the spectacle of Civil War has been topped with Infinity War and Endgame, I think Civil War is still my favorite MCU film. It’s not the deepest film in the world, but it took the characters we know and love to emotional depths that we had never seen before. I watched it again recently, and even after multiple MCU films featuring Spider-Man, Tom Holland’s introduction in this film still gives me goosebumps. It’s both heartbreaking and exhilarating seeing Cap and Tony at odds, and the film somehow manages to be a fulfilling sequel to the first two Cap films, while perfectly setting up the rest of Phase 3. Much has been said about the MCU's (and particularly this film's) color palette. The colors are toned down to ground the characters in reality. However, the 4K transfer still looks great; and it's the best way to watch the film.

I love this movie because it has almost all the Avenger characters in it and introduces Spider-Man!

This one was my favorite before Infinity War came out, glad they upgraded to 4K!!! Love it!!!

Marvel Studios has started re-releasing their previous films on the new 4K UHD format, but unfortunately they are doing it in a lackluster way. This film was shot on digital, so it does not achieve the native 4K video quality that true 4K films can. This is an upscale of the 1080p blu ray, so buyers should be aware of this going in. Also, there are no new special features. This is essentially just a repackaging of the original release. So unless you’re a 4K completionist, I think you’ll be safe passing on this one if you already have the regular blu ray. If you really want it, I might recommend waiting until it goes on sale.

These Steelbooks are going to make me broke, but I have to have them! Get style and 4K quality!

Marvel did it again with Captain America. Another action packed movie that leads to Infinity Wars.

This is one of my favorites the story is amazing and I love the big fight with the superheroes.

Not night and day difference in a lot of ways but the HDR gives the colors a nice little boost.

The HDR on this 4K is magnificent and the steelbook is a great addition to my Marvel collection

This movie is special as it introduces characters into the MCU and isa defacto Avengers movie.

Super hero movies, as we know them today, must walk the difficult line of being somewhat grounded in a reality audiences can relate to while at the same time embracing (not just accepting, but embracing) the inherent goofiness of the facts of the matter. In a broad scope, this is about guys and girls in colorful suits with silly nicknames duking it out with what tends to be (at least in the Marvel Cinematic Universe) a flavor of the week villain that does just enough to further the arc of what remains to be built in this ongoing series. What grounds these colorful characters sporting strange labels is the repercussions of their actions. The Avengers can shut down an entire alien race while destroying New York in the process and widely be regarded as the heroes of the scenario, but the fact of the matter is that if this were to happen in our reality there would be thousands upon thousands dead and even more injured. With the third Captain America film, Civil War, Marvel has found it the necessary time to begin giving their heroes more heady spaces to wander. Sure, there is still a bigger antagonist than either Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) or Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) in Civil War that leads to the plot being more run of the mill than I was hoping things might go, but there is enough justification and perspective to this villains plan that we go with what we're being offered. Perspective is a key word here. Not only in the driving force that puts the team at odds over the still brewing conflict concerning The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), but for these superior beings to take into account the consequences of their actions and come face to face with their shortcomings-the film more or less exploring how they deal with such realizations when they're brought up as potential charges. Captain America is a firm believer in consequentialism in that his goals are morally important enough that any method of achieving them are acceptable with the understanding of the unfortunate caveat that he will never be able to save everyone. It is in exploring such territory and being bold enough to bring their heroes face to face with such a reality that Marvel exceeds in walking that difficult line. Captain America: Civil War is very much a Marvel movie in that it is full of bright colors, genuinely funny quips, and some solid action set pieces, but bringing these characters (and these performers) into more interesting dynamics with one another notches up the reality factor with the result being an admirable balancing act that deserves to be applauded.
